NASN School Nurse Editor Cynthia Galemore interviews Erin Burns on her article (written with Kellie Thiessen) entitled “Look Closer...I Am Not 'Just Shy': Recognizing Social Anxiety Disorder: A Case Study." This article explores the often overlooked phenomenon of social anxiety disorder in children and illustrates the ways in which parents, teachers, and school nurses can be more conscious its symptoms.
