The Trudeau government is selecting Quebec judge Marie-Josee Hogue to lead a public inquiry into alleged Chinese interference into our political system according to anonymous government sources. This comes months after Prime Minister Justin Trudeau selected former Governor General David Johnston to probe any interference. That was met with backlash from both the public and opposition parties who have been demanding a public inquiry instead.
