Financial freedom is the greatest gift you can give yourself. To do that, you need to have financial literacy aka knowledge. The books that have benefited me the most are SAVE Yourself by Chelsea Galicia, Money Master the Game by Tony Robbins and the Broke Millennial book series. It's never too early OR too late to be better with your finances. It'll give you the freedom to be the artist you want. I speak from experience. When I was younger, as a filmmaker I thought that once a project the entered pre-production phase, no further revisions were needed of a script. That's false. Even though a script is not only workable but great, it still could use a polish. Keep taking every opportunity you can to improve a script, especially before filming it. Every Wednesday 8pm PT, Tony Becerra (@TonyBToeKnee) and I (@PhilSvitek) discuss a new movie on Clubhouse with audience members. (You're welcome to join us on future episodes). This is our Godzilla vs Kong recorded spoiler conversation. Godzilla vs. Kong is a 2021 American monster film directed by Adam Wingard. A sequel to both Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019) and Kong: Skull Island (2017), it is the fourth film in Legendary's MonsterVerse. The film stars Alexander Skarsgård, Millie Bobby Brown, Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, Shun Oguri, Eiza González, Julian Dennison, Lance Reddick, Kyle Chandler, and Demián Bichir. In the film, Kong clashes with Godzilla as humans lure the giant ape into the Hollow Earth to retrieve a power source for a weapon to stop Godzilla's mysterious rampages.. If you've seen it, listen to our take on it. And afterwards, please share some thoughts or questions.

It's true — sometimes you need to hear a message multiple times for it to really sink in. For me, that message was Gary Vee's distinction between trying to convince people vs having conviction in what you're doing. It might sound minor but when applied it makes a huge impact. That's what I discuss in this episode. I also tie in a lesson from Tim Ferriss. After listening, kindly feel free to ask questions or offer opinions of your own, whether down in the comment section or by hitting me up on social media @PhilSvitek. Thanks for checking out my vlog, where I highlight my creative journey to offer inspiration and specific take-aways for you. In this episode, I talk about the race to finish my proof of concept in time for its premiere (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mVhgNV8H-kY). Then I discuss how it was received and how I felt about it (you can watch the film directly here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qGbw1So77yg). And I end by talking about the full court press—what that means and how I'm applying it. Thanks for tuning in. Welcome to the virtual premiere of Playtest, a short film that acts as a proof of concept for a feature script called In Search of Sunrise. This event is hosted by Alina Vission (@AlinaVission). (TO WATCH THE EVENT, GO TO https://youtu.be/mVhgNV8H-kY). After the viewing of the film is a Q&A with Phil Svitek and those involved with the project. The premise of the film is: Aya's father is a tech guru who creates an immersive virtual entertainment experience that claims to fully cater to a user's unconscious desires. She feels this invention aims to spite her for not following in his footsteps by proving to her that art can be manufactured. Art, Aya believes, is too rooted in human emotion and no machine can truly replicate the depth of connection that human creativity does. Aya accepts the mission playtest it to prove to him and his Board of Directors that the machine is nothing more than a financial drain...

After watching, it'd mean a lot to mean if you can share your thoughts down in the comment section. And if you really enjoyed it, please share it. If you're interested in producing/financing/etc the full feature film, you can connect with me via email at [email protected]. While Clubhouse is a fantastic app, the only downside is a lot of those wonderful conversations on it aren't heard. This is because those not live in the room when it happened aren't able to hear them. That's because Clubhouse doesn't natively allow you to record the discussions. But there is a way to do it. In this episode I show you how I do it. Please note, whenever you record a session YOU MUST announce it to audiences and it should be a room you're in charge of. Also, write it into the description so people joining on the fly are aware. After listening, kindly feel free to ask questions or offer opinions of your own, whether down in the comment section or by hitting me up on social media @PhilSvitek. Also, feel free to join Tony Becerra and me each Wednesday at 8pm PT to discuss new movies!
