As we wind down a difficult 2020, Vee and AD discuss the challenges of finding the positive in what feels like negative times. We take some time to talk about a few things we are grateful for, and why it's important to make it a practice to have gratitude daily. This is our last episode of the longest year ever...and we want to thank you all for every play, like, share, comment this year. We are all growing together and we are grateful for you growing with us!
We've been planning this conversation for over a year...we finally got to sit down with our brother Timothy to talk about the challenges of being gay in the Military specifically the marines. We find out what life was like after the military, and how things have changed over the years. As usual, we learned a lot and had a lot of fun while doing it. We hope you enjoy this episode as much as we enjoyed recording it.
In this episode of The APAN podcast, Vee and AD have a conversation with Patience about Horoscopes, Zodiac Signs, and personality traits. Vee is still waiting for someone to help her do the research...and Patience opens us all up to the world of Jue Jue!

In this episode of The APAN Podcast, Vee and AD discuss the challenges of being "yourself" in a day and age of social media. Do you have a different persona for the public than you do at home? Are you someone who takes multiple photos before posting the best pic? Do you believe influencers are who they show us? Or is there a "regular" version of these people? One thing for sure...we still aren't used to sharing our lives with you every week...but what you see is what you get with us!
Do you feel bad before you make a "want" purchase? Do you question if you deserve nicer things? Are you a black woman? Then this episode is for you..and if you can't check any of those boxes...This episode is ALSO for you. Take a listen and tell us what you think about this topic.
In this Episode of the APAN Podcast, we talk about Monogamy and relationships. AD watched the Dead ass Podcast with Kjadeen and Devale Ellis and has a few thoughts on the topic of Monogamy, relationships, and expectations in relationships. Of course, Vee has her own thoughts and opinions and that's what makes this A Podcast!

In this episode we welcome back "Cameo w/ Mo" and we welcome Vee's daughter Jaden (you hear about Jaden almost every episode).
We talk about complexion and the lack of representation in the industry and in society of black women of the darker hue. Where did this topic come from... Jaden. Jaden speaks so passionately about this issue.
We also discussed stereotypes when it comes to "black" tv. Why is it that dark skin black women always play a hard struggling role? Why do we always have to be on the come up?
Mo explains that growing up as the only black in her school she was always reminded that she was dark. She was always told that she was pretty for a dark skin girl. She said she didn't feel like it was discrimination but it's definitely levels to skin complexion.
Colorism is real and we as blacks do more judging amongst ourselves than anyone else.
How do we change this? We can change this by having conversations like this.
Thanks, ladies!
LISTEN, LAUGH, LOVE!
