What's worse than Lee's awful Chris D'Elia impression? Lots of things; but we've narrowed it down to "Boaters for Trump", the Mortal Kombat movies, and Netflix's upcoming Nurse Ratched show. This week we discuss all that plus more, including Robby's thoughts on Cobra Kai and Lee's adoration for the "period piece lesbian melodrama" genre of Independent film. 

It's our first episode and it's all about everyone's favorite topic: politics. Fun fact about Justice League: Joss Whedon was so adamant about including a joke where Flash makes a funny by falling onto Wonder Woman's boobies (hehe), that Whedon filmed the gag with a stand-in for Gal Gadot because she didn't want to do the scene. Robby gives some insight into his opposition of Biden/Harris; Lee makes the case for why Return of the Jedi is a perfect standalone movie and the only Star Wars movie you need to watch. 

Lee and Robby hate Friends and you're gonna hear about it. They also discuss Shin Godzilla, the "cancelling" of Kindergarten Cop, Donald Trump's horrendous Axios interview and his thousands of lawsuits, and Lee reveals how The Phantom scarred him as a child. 

This week we recorded a commentary track for one of our favorite movies, [REDACTED].  Initially panned by critics and barely making its budget back at the box office, this 20 year old sci-fi classic has gone on to be re-examined in the past few years and is now considered by many to be a misunderstood masterpiece, especially as it has become more relevant in the years since its release.  We encourage you to watch along with us for the best experience, you can stream this movie on Netflix and IMDB TV.
