Joseph reveals that God harbors hatred for evil and would destroy anything that threatens our well-being. He explains how Jesus publicly defeated the devil to eliminate everything that opposes us, as shown in Colossians 2:14-15. Jesus took vengeance on the devil and all principalities and powers for the souls they deceived, highlighting that true love is accompanied by a form of hatred.

Next, he cites Hebrews 10:30-31 to demonstrate that God is a God of vengeance, and falling into His hands is truly a fearful thing. He clarifies that God’s hatred is directly linked to defending His people. He emphasizes that, as Christ’s body, we have been empowered as the church to take authority and demonstrate God’s manifold wisdom before principalities and powers.

Joseph affirms that angels are activated when we walk in obedience to God’s word, and they will accompany us in our next assignment, as we will reign with them forever. He explains that angels only respond to God’s voice, so we activate their help by speaking God’s word in prayer. By doing so, we engage angelic assistance in our lives.
