— Life is about stepping into our power as conscious creators to live the life we want to experience and enabling others to do the same.
Valeria Teles interviews Meniyka Kiravell — she is an Online Holistic Healing Mindset Coach, In-Person Hypnosis Practitioner, And Speaker
Meniyka Kiravell's aim is to inspire and expand our collective conscious. She has had a wild and surreal life. Around the age of 12, she began having out of body experiences on a nightly basis. At the age of 13, she experienced her first conscious telepathic communication and by 18, she knew that no matter how much trouble I stirred up, that she was taken care of and divinely guided. All of these experiences have shaped who she is today, a life coach who helps her clients experience their true purpose, potential and innate sense of divinity and well-being.
Meniyka's personal and professional goal is to help us know and feel our true potential and power so we can move through this life experience with complete confidence.
In her 30's Meniyka moved back to the United States to treat her mother. She suffered from disabling migraines and had lost her job two years prior at the hospital where she had worked for over 30 years. Using 100% natural techniques and energy medicine, her mother's health rebounded within three weeks. Meniyka chose to stay close to home and settled once again in California. This time in San Diego.
Having come full circle, she is back in America as an awakened conscious creator. She embraced music and the arts again because she finally achieved some semblance of balance-creating for the joy of creating, letting go of limiting beliefs and comparisons & coming from a more authentic place.
Meniyka truly believes and lives by the motto that life is supposed to be fun, prosperous, fulfilling, and enjoyable.

— Adversity is an opportunity to grow, to heal, to become and to discover, and most certainly, to build. — The hearts of all must be touched so deeply that they are awakened to the true power that lies within, so that they, maybe for the first time, see clearly, for the first time, truly know which way to go. If you were to play hide and seek, would you not try to hide in the last place that the seeker would look? Your true power has been hidden in this very place. The last place the seeker would look. Would it then really come as a surprise that the strongest, most powerful part of you is also the softest and the most loving? The heart: your true power, a magnificent source that has the key to manifestation, peace, contentment, and the power to change the world lies in your heart.

— Celebrating other peoples' success creates an environment of success for everyone. The more we help each other and lift each other up, the more we can achieve ourselves. We tend to focus on other people's failures — schadenfreude is all too common. But a mindset of abundance, not scarcity, can have tremendous individual payoffs. We're accustomed to competing with each other. Instead, we should just compete with ourselves and take every opportunity to mentor, coach, and support others. Like the mutual power of referrals, cheerleading others reflects back on us.

— Being a creative isn't easy; however, it does become easier to manage & develop a deeper connection with a taste of three techniques to enhance our creativity through Sydney Melnick's 1:1 creative sessions. Are you giving yourself enough time for rest in your routine? Rest are pauses in our day to recharge our creativity when we have a creative block, having anxious thoughts, feeling stuck on a problem, or needing to remove ourselves from our workspace. Another much-needed aspect of Sydney's work is inner exploration, the more we learn about our inner world the more we understand our authentic self & the path we are searching for. As an individual, we have internal selves that are present with us without us consciously being aware such as, the people pleaser, the vulnerable child, the inner child, & the most daunting one... the inner critic. Most of us have a workspace, but do you have a creative space to help with your visualization process? Having a creative space is helping reset our minds to hold onto the meaningful moments that are happening in our life. This space is where we learn to feel safe, heal, & manage our stress. Imagery doesn't have to be representational drawings. It can be quotes, colors, shapes, or even found objects to remind ourselves how far we are becoming on our journey.

— Too many potential cures for cancer disappear in a funding bottleneck. Music Beats Cancer is changing this by leveraging the power and passion of people and music to help raise funds and awareness of promising cancer innovations that would otherwise linger in the Valley of Death. Their mission is to increase the number of cancer-fighting technologies in the product development pipeline so that more solutions make it to those in need.
Valeria Teles interviews Dr. Mona Jhaveri, a Founder, Executive Director, And Chairman Of The Board At Music Beats Cancer, And Speaker
Dr. Mona Jhaveri launched the nonprofit to address the "Valley of Death," the growing gap in funding that constrains the translation of cancer research discoveries into clinical applications.
Prior to Music Beats Cancer, Jhaveri founded Foligo Therapeutics, Inc. in 2005 to develop and commercialize a DNA-based therapeutic compound as a potential treatment for ovarian cancer. While Foligo was able to initially attract funding from various state-run venture programs and business plan competitions, the company ultimately succumbed to the Valley of Death.
Jhaveri realized that breaking this funding bottleneck was a more critical priority than Foligo and rededicated herself to Music Beats Cancer and its mission.
Jhaveri holds a doctorate in biochemistry from the Bowman Gray School of Medicine of Wake Forest University. She trained as a post-doctoral fellow at the National Cancer Institute and was granted the SPORE Fellowship Award for Breast Cancer Research at the Lombardi Cancer Center of Georgetown University. She subsequently specialized in intellectual property and technology transfer while at the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research.
