  • A Question of Confidence - Episode One - Tress Larson

Meet Tress Larson of Lashbox LA. On the surface she seems to have it all. A dazzling Instagram page, a fabulous career with a prestigious lash brand. She's busy, busy, busy. She oozes self-confidence but is she? How does she actually feel when she's out there on TV shows and speaking at lash events? Does she have any tips and tricks for the rest of us?

  • A Question Of Confidence - what's it all about? Here's a little introduction (complete with annoying echo effect, sozza, could not work out how to get it off!!)
In this series I'm going to explore that little chap we call Confidence - an elusive and at times slippery customer but well within your grasp.  Life throws us curve balls that can knock it from time to time and my goodness we've had an avalanche of those in the last couple of years but that doesn't mean that your Mojo is beyond your reach.  I want to find out from my guests what helps them to feel, or at least look more confident when they wake up feeling like climbing back under their 13 tog!  Tips, tricks, strategies are here for the taking and I just so hope that you will cherry pick the golden nuggets that could well work for you to get you back in the game and upping your confidence so that you can get out there, facing your audience and shouting YOU and your BIZ from the rooftops.
My promise to you is that there will not be an annoying echo on all of the episodes.  I was just bursting to get this out there so that I can hasten on with my first guest - who - is - FABULOUS!

  • Behind The Lashes # 2
In this post pandemic episode we look more to the future as we move further away from the lockdowns and all the anguish those brought with them. Many of us had to pivot our businesses just to survive but my guest Sophie Mason fully pivoted her business when she saw the opportunity to get the life she wanted. Sophie was an all round beautician and worked for many years with her own thriving business until Covid hit. During the lockdowns she created LashFest - a very successful lash conference. She's passionate about helping other women reach financial independence and is now a business coach as well. Find out more, as in true 'Behind The Lashes' style; I have a good old poke around! You'll find Sophie @iamsophiealexandra and @Lashfest__ on IG

  • Episode One Hundred and Seventy Six. Tress Larson #1
Nipping off over the Atlantic again for this episode.  I speak to a brand new guest on Behind The Lashes.  She's Senior Master Lash Artist for Lashbox LA and a seriously accomplished lash artist and educator.  She was in right at the beginning in 2006 when she saw a picture in a magazine and begged the salon she was in to get a trainer in there and eventually they listened and thus her love affair with lashes began.  She has a really big heart and is as passionate about helping others as she is about making people look and feel beautiful.  You only need to look at her instagram to see this and speaking of which if there was a prize for creating copious amounts of dreamy content; I think she'd win it! Check her out on tress.lashboxla
Tress is coming to London in May to speak at @lashfest__ she is running her training the day before on 14th May and there are a couple of spaces left.  There are also a few tickets left to Lashfest.  I'm going - I'm MC for the day and speaking also.  Come and join us!

  • Episode One Hundred and Seventy Three. Dejsa Junious #1 aka @addictit_lashes
Overseas again for this next episode and I speak to a new kid on the block in terms of this podcast series.  She's no stranger to lashes however!  A seasoned lash artist and wizard of colour lashes, which is very apt as she has the most bright and colourful personality as you'll find out. She's based over in Georgia, Atlanta in the US.  Find out how she has been affected by the pandemic and have fun getting to know her with me.
