This is the week of all weeks, I’m going to be signing my divorce papers that will officially end my 10 year relationship. Not really sure how to prepare for this but we do what we need to do and find the strength to keep going. Deep breaths….

We are now a few months into the divorce process and so many things can happen and go wrong. Can we agree on a settlement? Tune in to find out. 

What do you think of when you think of the word, closure? I use to think closure with an EX meant that you would talk about the break-up, maybe even have an argument or some form of communication before you stopped communicating altogether.

In this particular case, my closure was in the form of a letter that I wrote and emailed.

My "Divorce Process" was a very tedious one as there wasn't alot of property, money nor ties between my Ex-husband and I. Divorce becomes a long process due to lack of cooperation of one or both sides. In my case, it was my Ex-husband. You endure alot of loss when it comes to divorce. You can loose your friends, money, dignity and self-worth but it doesn't have to be this way.
