A little girl caught up in the nightmare of physical and sexual abuse, Kelly was taught by the adults around her that you keep secrets, say nothing, and you don't stick up for yourself. She lived a life of loneliness always anticipating the worst. They never left her apartment or went anywhere.  School wasn't any better as she became a target for bullying. With no adults coming to her aid, she questioned whether she was even worth it to speak up and gave in to this new onset of abuse. In high school, in an attempt to ward off the stifling rejection her circumstances created, she started to make her own choices of promiscuity. She found herself going from one relationship to the next looking for love but being used. The Rejection deepened. When her sister who had been the one person who seemed to understand told her she was moving out to another state the hopelessness consumed her. With absolutely nothing to look forward to in life at age 17 she followed through with her decade long fantasies of suicide. Slitting her wrist, she waited to die. BUT the miracle worker had something else in store. The Son of God, JESUS the author of hope and life stepped in and wrote A REDEMPTION STORY.
