Ro: Soarele de vară strălucea puternic peste ruinele Sarmizegetusei.
En: The summer sun shone brightly over the ruins of Sarmizegetusa.

Ro: Aerul era călduț, iar mireasma de flori de câmp învăluia totul într-o atmosferă de liniște.
En: The air was warm, and the scent of wildflowers enveloped everything in an atmosphere of tranquility.

Ro: Acolo, printre pietrele vechi și grele de istorie, Andrei și Mirela se întâlneau după mult prea mult timp.
En: There, among the old stones heavy with history, Andrei and Mirela met after far too much time apart.

Ro: Andrei, un bărbat înalt și serios, își lăsase viața de peste hotare în așteptare.
En: Andrei, a tall and serious man, had put his life overseas on hold.

Ro: Mirela, creativă și sensibilă, rămăsese acasă să îngrijească amintirile familiei.
En: Mirela, creative and sensitive, had stayed home to care for the family's memories.

En: They had come together now for a sad reason: the passing of their parent.

Ro: „De mult n-am mai fost aici,” spuse Andrei, privind spre ruinele vechi.
En: "It's been a long time since I've been here," said Andrei, looking toward the ancient ruins.

Ro: „Îmi amintesc când veneam cu tata.
En: "I remember coming here with dad.

Ro: Arunca pietre în pârâu și râdea…”Mirela îl privi cu un zâmbet trist.
En: He would throw stones into the stream and laugh..." Mirela looked at him with a sad smile.

Ro: „Da, îmi amintesc și eu.
En: "Yes, I remember too.

Ro: Tata spunea că aceste locuri sunt parte din familie.
En: Dad used to say that these places are part of the family."

Ro: ”Andrei oftă.
En: Andrei sighed.

Ro: Vizita orașului vechi îi aminti de copilăria petrecută alături de tatăl lor.
En: Visiting the old town reminded him of his childhood spent with their father.

Ro: Dar el venise pentru a rezolva afacerile.
En: But he had come to take care of business.

Ro: Casa familiei, și pământurile, toate trebuiau împărțite ori vândute.
En: The family house, and the lands, all had to be divided or sold.

Ro: „Trebuie să discutăm despre moștenire, Mirela.
En: "We need to talk about the inheritance, Mirela.

Ro: Eu trebuie să mă întorc înapoi.
En: I have to go back.

Ro: Am viața mea acolo,” spuse el, hotărât.
En: I have my life there," he said, determined.

Ro: Mirela, însă, avea alte planuri.
En: Mirela, however, had other plans.

Ro: „Andrei, aceste locuri au un suflet.
En: "Andrei, these places have a soul.

Ro: Să le vindem ar însemna să pierdem tot ce ne-a rămas de la părinții noștri.
En: Selling them would mean losing everything we have left from our parents."

Ro: ”Pentru o clipă, tăcerea se așternu.
En: For a moment, silence fell.

Ro: Andrei contemplă cerința surorii sale.
En: Andrei contemplated his sister's demand.

Ro: El nu înțelegea de ce pentru Mirela era atât de importantă păstrarea moștenirii.
En: He didn't understand why it was so important for Mirela to keep the inheritance.

Ro: „De ce ai vrea să păstrezi totul, Mirela?
En: "Why would you want to keep everything, Mirela?

Ro: Nu ai nevoie de bani?
En: Don't you need money?

Ro: De stabilitate?
En: Stability?"

Ro: ” întrebă Andrei.
En: Andrei asked.

Ro: „Sincer, Andrei, eu vreau să păstrez amintirile.
En: "Honestly, Andrei, I want to keep the memories.

Ro: Vreau să avem unde să revenim, unde să ne amintim de ei, de amândoi.
En: I want us to have a place to return to, where we can remember them, both of them.

Ro: Știu că pentru tine e greu de înțeles după atâta timp.
En: I know it's hard for you to understand after so long."

Ro: ” Mirela spera să ajungă la inima lui.
En: Mirela hoped to reach his heart.

Ro: Ușor, Andrei simți cum aceleași ruine unde își petrecuse copilăria vorbeau din nou cu el.
En: Gently, Andrei felt how those same ruins where he spent his childhood spoke to him again.

Ro: Simți ceva schimbându-se.
En: He felt something changing.

Ro: Poate era simplă nostalgie, poate amintirea tatălui care râdea alături de ei.
En: Maybe it was simple nostalgia, maybe the memory of his father laughing with them.

Ro: „Poate ai dreptate,” murmură Andrei.
En: "Maybe you're right," Andrei murmured.

Ro: „Nu trebuie să uităm de unde venim.
En: "We shouldn't forget where we come from."

Ro: ”Decizia nu fu ușoară, dar în acea zi, printre ruinele Sarmizegetusei, Andrei hotărî să rămână puțin mai mult.
En: The decision wasn't easy, but on that day, amid the ruins of Sarmizegetusa, Andrei decided to stay a little longer.

Ro: Voia să ajute la păstrarea a ceea ce a lăsat familia lor.
En: He wanted to help preserve what their family had left behind.

Ro: Așa că, alături de Mirela, începu să caute o cale de a integra dragostea de locurile natale cu viața lui de peste hotare.
En: So, alongside Mirela, he began to seek a way to integrate the love for their homeland with his life overseas.

Ro: Începuseră să creeze un nou amestec de tradiție și viitor, unindu-i mai mult decât au sperat vreodată.
En: They began to create a new blend of tradition and future, uniting them more than they had ever hoped.
