It's back to school time! I am still figuring out how to balance it all while literally going through different stages of fatherhood. A surprise unexpected vacation....a death in my family & how quickly my kids have grown without me noticing it in real time.

This week Tevin joins the pod to tell his story about how he ended up with full custody of his daughters & how they all had to adjust to their new environments and new routines. We also discuss military life, Tevin is a 14 year active duty member of the United States Army as well as how therapy changed his perspective or some of his past decisions.

In the Season 3 debut I am discussing how much my life has evolved with boundaries, therapy and the PEACE it all has given me. As well as a new hobby that has facilitated that progress.

The ramifications of not sticking to boundaries or lack there of & how it has led to some conflict lately in my life. I discuss some of those details & why I feel the justice system is biased based on gender. Also the development of some new friendships and my return to therapy.

Holiday season was chaotic along with a few other distractions. This week I am discussing issues with a certain school, a disturbing text message and guess who I went to visit.

Sometimes you have to set boundaries with everyone & stick to them. More importantly you have to do it with your children, it’s a pivotal part of their growth as well. It’s provides them with the opportunity to learn from the choices they make. Sometimes you have to simply say “NO”. Also start holding everyone accountable for how they do or do not show up for you. Friendships and relationships should be to a point reciprocal.
