Today's world is full of safety lids, seat belt laws, restrictions and many other things that have been created and forced upon us for safety's sake. When I look back at some of the things we did as kids in the 70s I often wonder how we made it to adulthood.

Fast forward seven years and we got to complete our interviews of the founders of the rock group KISS. Gene and Paul are partners in Rock & Brews restaurants and they built one in Braman, OK. Stayton and I have been best friends for 50 years now! He moved into the neighborhood on W. Broadway and we became instant companions. One of the places we spent hours and hours was his house. 

Stayton had his own room upstairs, a trampoline in the backyard and the garage in which we built our haunted mazes. Therefore we spent much of our time hanging around his place.

His home at 1523 W. Broadway is currently for sale and they had an open house this weekend. I decided to pop in and take a stroll down memory lane. I don't think I've been in the house in over 40 years. I've narrated some video of the home to give you all a glimpse into our 70s lifestyle. Enjoy!
