On this episode, I talk about the now-infamous Will Smith-Chris Rock Oscars incident, as well as my and my girlfriend's trip to the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary - where we met our new puppy, Maya!

Are we ready for more UNSPEAKABLE ACTS? This book is a BRILLIANT anthology of modern true-crime articles that have changed the game in terms of the genre, and which have reignited a more sophisticated approach to true crime in general. Today, we are finishing Part One of this book, and I cannot wait to show you what this part has to offer!

In this episode, we will be looking at the case of Jennifer Pan, the house of cards she built her academic life to be, and the revenge she decided to take on her tiger parents when it all came crashing down. We will also be looking at the case of con man Derek Alldred, and the women he took advantage of with his lies and manipulation. All in all, this is gonna be a GOOD episode!

TRIGGER WARNING: This episode deals with themes of claustrophobia, child death, and good ol' human crushes!

On this episode of A Slice of Ham, we're gonna talk about our favorite crushes! Not the "she loves me, she loves me not" kind of crush, though - today, we are going to talk about the wild and wonderful world of HUMAN CRUSHES! That is when human bodies are squeezed so close together, that people are either trampled to death, or suffocated to death. Fun, fun, fun!

Let's get a slice!

Hey, howdy, hey! In this episode of our "Let's Read" series, we are taking a stab at one of the most interesting, shocking, complex, confusing, and nightmarish cults that have been uncovered recently - we are looking into the story of NXIVM, the "self-help" company that served as a front for its founder and creator to gather women for sex trafficking purposes. Keith Raniere is not a good boy, and we are going to read ALL about how much of a stinky little fart boy he truly is.

This is a PATREON-EXCLUSIVE EPISODE, but I wanted to give you a preview of it, just in case this is something that you'd be interested in! Access to the Secret Book Club is available through my Patreon page - just 10 bucks a month gets you access to AT LEAST two episodes of the book club, each and every month!

I am SO excited to be able to be an audiobook for you guys. I hope you enjoy the book, and the story that comes with it! If you decide to join the book club, BLESS you!

But remember... DON'T CALL IT A CULT!

A few weeks ago, we covered toxic areas of the world that were made toxic by human beings!

This week, I wanted to cover areas of nature that are NATURALLY dangerous! Places that Mother Nature made on a bad day - places that will literally kill you JUST BY BEING PLACES. I am fascinated by areas of nature that are uninhabitable, dangerous, or otherwise scary.

Today, I have four terrifying places in nature to introduce you to! I am excited to inform you, as well as regale you with the stories of how those places have killed people!

Damn, Nature, you scary!

In this FINAL EPISODE of our first-ever "Let's Read" series, we will be FINISHING "The Family Next Door: The Heartbreaking Imprisonment of the Thirteen Turpin SIblings and Their Extraordinary Rescue" by the incomparable John Glatt!

Specifically, this episode is going to cover the entire pre-trial and evidentiary hearings of David and Louise Turpin, the media reaction that followed, and we will end with the epilogue that tells us EXACTLY what happened to these horrid, evil individuals.

I am honored and disgusted that you would come with me on this journey, and am delighted to be able to finish the book for you! I CAN'T WAIT TO MOVE TO THE NEXT ONE!

Let's read!
