More of a wandering conversation through the recent social media discourse around exposing toxic healers, the importance of discernment, and sharing my own earth devotional practices. An invitation to return to what feels grounding & embodied.
Please be sure to share any of your earth care practices/inspirations in the comments.
This conversation feels important right now, as the systems and structures around us crumble. I ask, what does it mean to be “in community” and how does someone become a good community member?
I’m actually surprised at how much my inner life is currently being reflected in my outer life (lessons around reciprocity, showing up, being a steward..)
I hope you enjoy this episode and the share, would love to hear from you about how it lands
Take/Give Care, L
After years of deep spiritual exploration, I talk about what started to unravel and the places I’ve found more honest and clarity since.
In this episode, I talk openly about my evolving relationship with new age spirituality language, messaging, and those practices I once followed closely. Over the past few years, I’ve found myself slowly questioning, and in a lot of cases, letting go of things that no longer feel aligned. I share what I’ve noticed along the way, what’s been shifting laterly, and the questionsnI ask myself that continue to shape my ever-changing perspective.
We get into shadow integration, and the space between noticing and actually choosing something different. I also pull a couple of tarot cards and offer a little mini reading.
I also offer a few simple practices to help you notice what’s going on, in and around you, to help you come back to yourself.
We talk about the rhythm of pulling in and breaking open. Why both are necessary states, why neither means you’re kind of doing it right, and how to stay with yourself through the spiral.
On the end of outsourcing your authority and the end of the guru. Exploring why your own knowing matters more than anything
In this episode, I share about the one practice that has single-handedly changed my life the most, and why. It’s Journaling.
What do you do when the things that used to make you feel connected, just don’t anymore?
In this episode, we explore that uncomfortable in-between space, where your old practice falls away, and something more honest wants to take its place.
What do you actually need to feel spiritual, when you strip it all back?
There’s a lot pulling for your attention right now, and not all of it deserves you.
In this episode, I talk about the skill of staying grounded when everything feels loud and urgent. Inspired by the Wheel of Fortune tarot card, this is on learning how to witness the chaos without becoming it. How to stay rooted in your own centre, even as things spin, spin, spin.
If you’ve been feeling overstimulated or pulled in too many directions, this one will feel like a deep exhale.
Come back to yourself.
