We've come to the end of the road with Cowboy Bebop, and it sure has been a journey. To help us wrap up our thoughts on the show and to give some greater context to when Cowboy Bebop first aired we have the lovely Miss Inke Noir on to talk with us about it.
We have a lot to talk about here. It's time for Spike's story to end. It's time to decide between the past and the future. You're gonna carry that weight.
These episodes can be a bit serious, and we seriously think you should take that into consideration when we do our best to bring you goofs amidst talk of losing your past and cults of a digital age.
It's our first case covering a movie, and we have a lot to say a bout it, and not all of it is good. Listen in for Holden and Lexi's spicy takes.
Alright folks, I'm not going to beat around the bush. This is the cowboy episode. Just the entire thing, top to bottom we are talking about cowboys, literal and metaphorical and that's about it. We talk a little bit about Jet's very good costume, but otherwise, it's cowboys all the way down.
[ominous French sounds fade] Our detectives have come out of this case changed folks, we've seen some things. Topics discussed: a horrible Frenchman, the creating discomfort through visual mediums, Spike's deal with his mortality, horrible theme parks, why are there so few cowboys, Jet goes full noir mode, unsavory shipping in show, ice cream in a park, Spike and Faye flirting, and bad dads.
How do you like the ponies? Or maybe subtle jabs at the "adventure" genre, or maybe you appreciate just a nice time with your bounty hunting friends? No? You're telling me you don't like old spaceship engineers? Or our marketable plushies? Wow, rude honestly. No pleasing you. Hope you enjoy the episode anyway.
