Story Transcript:

Cy: Roedd hi'n fore olau yn haf, pan roedd plant Ysgol Gynradd Llanberis yn cyffroi am y daith i'r warchodfa natur Misty Glade.
En: It was a bright summer morning when the children of Ysgol Gynradd Llanberis were excited about the trip to the Misty Glade nature reserve.

Cy: Roedd y warchodfa'n enwog am ei harddwch gyda choed trwchus, blodau llachar, a ffrydiau bychain yn murmur yn bell.
En: The reserve was famous for its beauty with dense trees, bright flowers, and small streams murmuring in the distance.

Cy: Wrth i'r bws gyrraedd, roedd synau natur yn llenwi'r awyr.
En: As the bus arrived, the sounds of nature filled the air.

Cy: Roedd Eleri, eu hathrawes yn llawn egni, wedi treulio wythnosau yn paratoi'r trip.
En: Eleri, their energetic teacher, had spent weeks preparing for the trip.

Cy: "Cofiwch blant," dywedodd gyda gwên eang, "mae'r warchodfa hon yn lle arbennig. Mae'n bwysig dilyn y rheolau. Allet chi weld rhywogaethau prin!"
En: "Remember, children," she said with a wide smile, "this reserve is a special place. It's important to follow the rules. You might see rare species!"

Cy: Roedd Geraint, disgybl chwilfrydig a menterus, yn mwynhau'r syniad o ddarganfod rhywbeth newydd.
En: Geraint, a curious and adventurous student, relished the idea of discovering something new.

Cy: Roedd e wedi clywed straeon am wyfyn prin yn y cysgodion dwfn, a'i ffansïa oedd ei weld gyda'i lygaid ei hun.
En: He had heard stories about a rare moth in the deep shadows, and he fancied seeing it with his own eyes.

Cy: Ar y llaw arall, roedd Carys, ei ffrind craff cywir, yn benderfynol o gadw'r grŵp yn ddiogel.
En: On the other hand, Carys, his smart and sensible friend, was determined to keep the group safe.

Cy: "Geraint," meddai hi'n dawel, "cofia, mae'n bwysig cadw at y llwybrau. Peidiwch â thorri'r rheolau."
En: "Geraint," she said softly, "remember, it's important to stick to the paths. Don't break the rules."

Cy: Dechreuodd yr antur wrth i'r grŵp ddod allan o'r bws.
En: The adventure began as the group stepped off the bus.

Cy: Roedd Geraint yn cynnal sylw ar adar yn canu a blodau yn llawn lliw.
En: Geraint kept an eye on birds singing and flowers full of color.

Cy: Ond, wrth i'r daith fynd yn ei blaen, glywodd sibrwd y wyfyn prin.
En: But as the journey progressed, he heard whispers of the rare moth.

Cy: Roedd temptasiwn cynyddol yn ei lygaid.
En: The temptation grew in his eyes.

Cy: "Cefais ar ddeall bod y wyfynă wedi'i weld tu draw i'r ardal gaeëdig," meddai’n feddwl iddo’i hun.
En: "I heard the moth was seen beyond the enclosed area," he thought to himself.

Cy: Gyda phobl eraill yn brysur yn dilyn Eleri, penderfynodd Geraint gymryd saib byr i archwilio.
En: With everyone else busy following Eleri, Geraint decided to take a short detour to explore.

Cy: Cawsai gyfle! Yn sydyn, ffarwelo, a diflannodd.
En: He seized the opportunity! Suddenly, he slipped away and disappeared.

Cy: Pan sylweddolodd Carys ei fod wedi mynd, dilynodd hi'n gyflym, dipyn yn bryderus.
En: When Carys realized he was gone, she quickly followed, a bit anxious.

Cy: "Geraint! Ble rwyt ti?" galwodd.
En: "Geraint! Where are you?" she called.

Cy: Wnaeth ond parhau i arwain hi’n ddyfnach i mewn i'r warchodfa.
En: He only continued to lead her deeper into the reserve.

Cy: Ond, yn reit wrth iddynt golli’u ffordd, gweld wyfyn llachar gyda adenydd dirgel, lliwiau glas a lliwiau porffor.
En: But, just as they got off the path, they saw a brilliant moth with mysterious wings, in shades of blue and purple.

Cy: "Nid wyf yn credu hyn!" mwmiodd Geraint, yn siomedig a balch ar yr un pryd.
En: "I can't believe this!" Geraint mumbled, disappointed and proud at the same time.

Cy: Ond, wrth iddyn nhw ei edmygu, sylwasant eu bod wedi colli’r llwybr.
En: But as they admired it, they realized they'd lost the trail.

Cy: Roedd eu hofn yn cynyddu, a'u coediog yw'r warchodfa.
En: Their fear grew, and the reserve's forest seemed vast.

Cy: Ond tra bod y ddau’n dechrau poeni, dyma Eleri yn ymddangos.
En: But just as the two began to worry, Eleri appeared.

Cy: "Dydych chi ddim ar eich pen eich hun," meddai’n tawelu.
En: “You are not alone," she said reassuringly.

Cy: "Dewch, fe’ch gyrraf chi yn ôl."
En: “Come on, I'll guide you back.”

Cy: Wrth iddyn nhw deithio’n ddiogel yn ôl i'r grŵp, sylweddolodd Geraint pa mor bwysig a oedd i gadw at y rheolau, ac i wrando ar gyngor ei ffrindiau.
En: As they safely traveled back to the group, Geraint realized how important it was to stick to the rules and to listen to his friends' advice.

Cy: Dysgodd mai gyda chyngor ac arweiniad y gellid defodau manau newydd yn ddiogel.
En: He learned that with guidance and leadership, new places could be explored safely.

Cy: Ar ddiwedd eu taith, dywedodd Geraint yn dawel wrth Carys, "diolch am fy nilyn. Dysgais wersi gwerthfawr heddiw."
En: At the end of their journey, Geraint quietly said to Carys, "Thanks for following me. I learned valuable lessons today."

Cy: Roedd yr awyr lwyr yn hunan-ddu lwythog a llachar nawr, gyda'r flwyddyn newydd i ddisgybl yn barod i gychwyn – gyda Geraint yn gwybod ei fod wedi tyfu a dysgu i werthfawrogi'r arweiniad.
En: The sky was wholly self-darkened and bright now, with the new school year ready to start—with Geraint knowing he had grown and had learned to appreciate guidance.

Cy: A dyma ddiwedd hapus yr hanes yng ngogoniant yr haf.
En: And thus, a happy ending to the story in the glory of summer.
