Cara Patricia, Advanced Sommelier, Co-Founder of DECANTsf
Cara was a luxury Champagne Specialist for Moët Hennessy for many years, and in San Francisco, she was Lead Sommelier at Hakkasan and won a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence 2013, simultaneously overseeing the $3MM cellar of Bright Wine Fund & Michelin Three-Star restaurant Saison as Cellarmaster, which received the Wine Spectator Grand Award under her tenure.
Simi Grewal, Certified Sommelier, Co-Founder of DECANTsf
Simi has always worked in positions that allowed her to gain a holistic understanding of the hospitality industries. A graduate of Culinary Institute of America (CIA)--where she met Cara!--Simi has been a line cook, worked in the marketing department of luxury grocery, led teams in restaurant management and been both a Captain and Sommelier at Michelin Star properties, including acclaimed New York restaurant Eleven Madison Park.
