In this episode, we provide a definition of the Christian doctrine of the Trinity—God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Pastor Rob takes two terms from that definition and explains the Trinity further, with some church history scattered in there as well! Want to understand the Trinity? Learning two words in the definition of the Trinity will help you do so! Both the terms Nature (Greek: Ousia), and Person (Greek: Hypostasis) are essential to understanding the Trinity! Listen in!

The Bible emphatically states that Jesus is God. The deity of Christ is essential to Christianity, and in this episode, Pastor Rob shows from John 5 and 10 that not only did Jesus state His deity, but the religious leaders of His day knew it.

When thinking about how God has revealed Himself to humanity, what comes to mind? Depending on who you ask, people might say that God speaks to us through nature, our own hearts, angels or visions, and the like. To ask this question is human, and our answers usually are given within the same human framework. From a Christian perspective, we answer this question from the Bible - a divine work. The answer we recieve in the New Testament of the Scriptures is that God has spoken in many ways in the past, but has in these last days “Spoken unto us by His Son.” Listen in today to a Text for Today as we look to the way God definitively speaks to us through His Son Jesus Christ today.
