Hey everyone! I moved in to university yesterday and I am really excited to start this journey. This is the first installment of a new series called covid college firsts where I will go through interesting first experiences I have during my freshman year of university while there is also covid. Thankfully, I still have an aspect of in person, but will the restrictions make it an isolating time? In a society where murder mysteries are super white and interracial couples are Black and white, we have Issa Rae and Kumail Nanjiani breaking barriers and creating a late-night comedy that's old but new. Listen in to hear the twists and turns and even some controversy surrounding Nanjiani. Then, decide if you want to watch.
Hi everyone! This week I am talking about the slow (but kind of fast) decline of Kanye West's mental stability. Throughout the years he has been involved in numerous scandals, but lately it seems as though he needs some help. One thing I failed to mention is that he made some wack comments regarding Harriet Tubman this past week and was shut down but one of the living relatives of Tubman. Serves him right! While his music is good, at this point, we as consumers should no longer line his pockets. Can we finally cancel him and force him to get help?
Hear about my crazy day today - reflection on western mass and getting towed. Was it really that crazy? Probably not, but definitely stressful.
Hey everyone, sorry I didn't post last week, but I am back. Hey y'all! In this episode I will be talking about a celebration created in 1865, created by and for Black people, that should be more mainstream and celebrated by everyone. I dive into the history, how it is celebrated, and why we should celebrate Juneteenth. It needs to be adopted as a formal national holiday ad possibly replace July 4th especially in importance.

DISCLAIMER: I know that there are so many other important things I can be talking about regarding the treatment of Black people, but I am working to be a good ally, so I need to keep doing that work before I speak on it.

Hey guys! Sorry I've been MIA, I was on vacation, but I'm back and better than ever. I turned eighteen on May 16th and since then I have done some self-reflection and created a couple of goals for myself. I know it's hard to be productive during quarantine, but just find one attainable goal that you can reach each day, and you will feel so much better. I hope you are staying safe and I hope you will enjoy this episode.
