For anyone who has listened to the "Je suis Brian" episode, you might think I've begun to repeat myself after only six months. But this installment actually represents a departure of sorts for the Splash.

I wrote a comic sketch about ISIS operatives (yes) for a television contest not long ago. And it's another take on the themes I explored back in January. I suspect it has already been discarded by the powers that are, but I really liked the scene and didn't want it to go to waste. So I thought I'd use it as material for the podcast.

Besides, it was suggested that I register the sketch with the WGA, but that would have cost me 3 buck chuck money. So at least this proves that I actually wrote it. I also performed it too.

Up to now "A Tidy Splash of Wallace" has been totally improvised. But when you encounter what we might broadly call "a technical difficulty"--maybe a second take is in order..?

If you're like me, you're kind of tired of seeing that guy's YouTube ad, boasting of his "new lamborghini, which is fun to drive here in the Hollywood Hills." But it serves as a *reminder* that I'm going to be at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival May 5-10, where I'll workshop a new play. And so I offer insights as to how you can enjoy the same sort of life I lead.

Spring is in the air, and Easter is around the corner. So A Tidy Splash of Wallace is back with the story of a church stage mother who wants to make her baby a star. Only she forgot the 11th commandment: that sequels are rarely as popular as the originals.
