On our last local adventure, we decided to hit up a small castle built in the mountainside in Phoenix, AZ called My Mystery Castle. Made from all recycled materials, this was a lived in home until 2010, and has been available for tours since 1948. Come inside with me as I tell you all about it!

Who doesn't love a wild goose chase?! Apparently Mike and I really enjoy a hunt for things. Spoiler alert, we didn't find Kaiser Hot Spring, but we DID get to see a beautiful mountain landscape, wild burro, wild goat, and hunters looking for a creature I'd never heard of...javelina!

Please DON'T follow this websites GPS coordinates if you're looking for the Kaiser Hot Spring, but DO go to the parking lot and head SOUTH to find Warm Spring along the Burro Creek.

There are adventures outside every door! In this episode we had to leave the Phoenix property for a couple of days, so we wandered on over to Mesa, AZ to hunt for wild horses...and camp for free. We were so close to the Phoenix metro area, yet it felt like a world away!
