A Toast to Horror

Get in that Thanksgiving mood with M3gan! Or at least use of podcast to destress from family, Black Friday shopping, or non stop Christmas music! Hold on to your ears as we dive deep into who the actual villain is in this movie; just like Texas Chainsaw Massacre, it is not so clear-cut. There were some definite choices in the making of this movie that made it an interesting, if not unbelievable ride. Don't make the M3gan cocktail (unless you love Luxardo) and join us as we discuss basic road safety, how to keep company secrets, and homicidal AI dolls.

Get in the van, buckle up your seatbelts, but DO NOT pick up the hitchhikers! We're diving into our 3rd horror film, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. What makes this movie so iconic?! Sit back, open up your ears, and make a Gravedigger cocktail (with tequila, not mezcal) as we try to get to the bottom of it! You'll find out just how little experience we have with chainsaws and just how much compassion we have for Leatherface. If there's anything we learned from this movie, it's JUSTICE FOR LEATHERFACE!

Get comfortable under the nearest table and listen up to our newest episode on Parasite, the 2019 phenomenon directed and written by Bong Joon Ho. This movie may be a loose interpretation of horror, but there are definitely some scarily bad characters in it. Maybe the saying shouldn't be "liar, liar, pants on fire" but, "don't lie or else you'll get stabbed." Get ready for some lessons on karma...or the importance of a large rock. A large rock which our cocktail was named after. We drank a lucky rock cocktail and that was the highlight of this episode.

SPOILER ALERT - if you haven't seen this movie, we talk about it all!

Listen up as we talk about the lesser known Reese Witherspoon rom com, How Do You Know. Opinions are split as we discuss what this star-studded cast brings to the table. We remain a united front on one item: Paul Rudd is delightfully awkward and, as always, the highlight of the movie. We drink Bloody Mary's and discuss A Court of Thorn and Roses AGAIN in our latest episode.

This week we delve into Bros starring Billy Eichner and Luke Macfarlane. Sometimes we find the chemistry to be severely lacking in rom coms, but this movie has it in spades and it is hot hot hot! So watch this movie, make a white chocolate martini, and hit that play button! Don't forget to celebrate Pride Month!

SPOILER ALERT: This week we are covering Ghosted, a new movie on Apple TV. We will talk about EVERYTHING in regard to this movie; watch it before you listen. Having said that--wow. We never thought we wouldn't want to date Chris Evans, but this movie makes a case for not dating him (or at least his character in this move). Can someone say red flag?! This movie is a fresh take on an old idea. Come for the plot, but stay for the cameos! Paired with a Sunflower Cocktail.
