In this episode of A Touch of Class, Barry chats with Anna Foster, one of Ireland’s brightest young professionals and a rising star on the Ladies European Tour. After a stellar amateur career, Anna moved to the United States to compete for Auburn University, where she enjoyed four hugely successful years.

During her time at Auburn, Anna captured both the Irish Women’s Close and the Irish Women’s Amateur, and also qualified for the AIG Women’s Open at Walton Heath - a milestone moment in her development. After graduating, she made the leap into the professional ranks, secured her first professional win, and earned her full LET card, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter.

Anna reflects on her journey from junior golf in Ireland to life in the NCAA system, the lessons learned along the way, and the mindset required to compete at the highest level. A grounded, thoughtful, and hugely talented player, she offers brilliant insights for any young golfer with ambitions of their own.
