There are so many pressures that we face on a day-to-day basis. We’re constantly bombarded with impossible standards that we’re all failing to achieve. No matter what you do, no matter how hard you try, the goalposts always seem to be that much further out. In today’s message, Pastor Bill reminds you how refreshing it is to recognize that Jesus met the impossible standard of perfection for you. For those who don’t know Jesus as Savior, God’s judgment will be bitter. If we have the sweet words of life, we should share them! If you are a believer in Christ and know the gift of His grace, it should move you to share this good news with others. While there is still time, let us live with urgency to share God’s love with people who desperately need it.

Does it seem like evil is rampant on this earth? When you watch the news, do you grow anxious and uncertain of what the future holds? Today, Pastor Bill encourages us with the truth, that no matter what is going on in this world, God is in control. We wonder what God is up to and why it seems like He is silent sometimes. Rest in the fact that He has a plan for us and will see it through for the good of His kingdom and His people. God is the same yesterday and today and forever and He has our future in His hands.

While our society has largely chosen to ignore the spiritual realm, there are still many people out there who hold to superstitious ideas. Even certain branches or denominations of the Church have superstitious and ritualistic views of how to deal with the spiritual realm. This realm is very real, and we need to be aware of it - but we don’t have any reason to fear it as followers of Jesus. In today’s message, Pastor Bill will help us view the enemy and his minions through the lens of the Gospel.

The tribulation will leave no question in the minds of those who experience it that it’s the time described in Scripture. As Pastor Bill continues our study of the book of Revelation in today’s message, he’ll point out that the Tribulation is described as a time unlike any that has come before or will ever come again. It’ll be a time of tremendous torment and suffering. People will long to die and escape their misery but God won’t allow that to happen. For those who have accepted Jesus, they’ll be spared this time.

God can handle all of your feelings, but as Pastor Bill will explain in today’s message, He’s worthy of your reverence. If you’re struggling with His will for your life or this world, you can freely bring those questions to Him but do it humbly with respect for who He is. He created all of this and has the right to do whatever He wants. We need to remember our position before Him - we’re sinners with an extremely limited view and understanding of the scope of eternity and His will for His Creation.
