Our country’s movement away from Christian values is certainly sad, but as Pastor Bill will point out in today’s message, we’re far from experiencing real persecution as Christians in this country. Things are going to move in that direction around the world as we approach Christ’s return for His Church, but they can’t stop us from believing in Him and practicing our faith. If you look at places in the world where Christianity is already illegal, you’ll find vibrant followers of Jesus living out their faith in a very real way.

There are lots of routes you can take when traveling. You can take the longest route…you can take the scenic route…or you take the quickest route. Whatever you decide, you will eventually get to your destination. Well, Pastor Bill shares, you will eventually stand before God…no matter what religious route you take. But the only way to avoid God’s judgment…the only route to heaven is through Jesus. So, give your heart to Christ, repent of your sin, and confess that He is Lord, and you will be saved.

God loves all people…so we should love all people. As Pastor Bill shares the church should be the example to the world on how to love everyone…regardless of their socioeconomic status, their race, or their culture. In John 3:16 it says that God SO LOVED the world that He gave His only begotten Son. God sacrificed His Son, Jesus, for ALL people, for ALL time. Jesus died for ALL of us. In God’s eyes we are one race…the human race…made in His image and to be His sons and daughters.

Have you ever been to the grocery store and purchased an open package? A package that was not sealed properly? If you did, you probably had a few thoughts run through your head…one being this is not safe, it may have been contaminated. Well, Pastor Bill shares that when you are not a Christian, you are much like that unsealed grocery item. But, when you become a believer in Christ and accept Him as your Lord and Savior, the Holy Spirit seals you…free from the contamination of Satan.

A pastor once said that time is like a rope that stretches out through all eternity. And your life on earth is but a fraction of that very, very long rope. And you can become so focused on your small piece of that rope that you lose sight of the miles and miles of rope that lay ahead. So, as Pastor Bill shares don’t become so consumed with work, hobbies, and the things of this world that you miss God and His plans for you. Yes, you live in this world but you are just passing through on your way to eternity.

Look at the lives of many movie stars and you quickly know that

money does not buy happiness. You can spend your whole life

chasing monetary wealth and miss the key to being truly

wealthy. As Pastor Bill shares true riches can only be found in a

relationship with Jesus Christ. You may find yourself completely

broke and bankrupt but if you have Christ, you have all you

need. In God’s economy less is more…to give is to receive…you

must give up your life to receive life…life in Jesus.

It’s been said that the best way to counterfeit something is to

know the real thing extremely well. Satan knows God…he was

created by God and was with Him in heaven. But Satan hates

God and His creation…that means you. And as Pastor Bill shares

Satan is a counterfeit…he’s a fraud that wants you to believe that

he is the real thing. But don’t fall for it. In the tribulation, Satan

will pull out all the stops to convince people to turn away from

God… but God will continue to show people the truth.

We, as Christians, can get judgmental. Sometimes we can judge

someone's character or write someone off based on one

interaction. To be like this is not only wrong but hypocritical!

When we are born, we are born of sin. And without Jesus, we

would die of it. The gift that Jesus gives us is grace, and His

grace has no exceptions for anyone seeking it. The love of Jesus

has no exceptions, so why are we gate-keeping Him? Today,

Pastor Bill wants you to know that God is for all who seek Him.

Worship. You do it every Sunday at your local church. But why

do we sing and praise God? The most common misconception

about worship is that it’s not only for Sundays but every day. We

worship and praise God because we, as Christians, want to be

closer to Christ. And when we worship and praise His name, we

create an intimate space - an environment where we give God all

the honor and glory He deserves. And in today’s message,

Pastor Bill reminds you that worshipping God while you’re still

here on Earth matters.

Some people go through phases. They go through a religious

phase to find anything BUT God in their journey. They’ll even

find “themselves” in their false doctrines. And their focus is

always on “me, me, me” and never God - never Jesus Christ. The

world seems to have a hard time believing that Jesus came to

die for your sins. But today, Pastor Bill tells you that Jesus is the

ONLY one. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. NO

ONE comes to the Father except through Me.”
