As Christians, it’s easy to have doubts about whether or not God is really there for us. In times of unanswered prayer or feeling overlooked, we blame Him and wonder if He’s really going to come through for us. In today’s message, Pastor Bill wants you to know that God has never left your side and will always be there for you. Don’t be impatient and think that your timing is better than His. Instead, know that God will always have the best plan for your life.

Whether you want to be used by Him or not, He will find a way to further His kingdom through you. Submit to God’s calling for your life and let Him work through you in powerful ways. You can always be used by Him.

Do you want to grow spiritually? Do you know what to do for that to happen? Pastor Bill teaches us today that hanging out with spiritually dead people can kill you spiritually. If we are not strong enough to overcome it, the darkness that spiritually dead people carry can sway us. It's like a bride all dressed in white spending time in a coal mine and expecting her dress to stay white. When vulnerable believers spend time in darkness, they can't expect to escape its influence. Let's be strong and shine Christ’s light.

Have you departed from iniquity? Has your life gone from darkness to light? Pastor Bill today challenges us to examine our lives to see if we have walked away from sin. Have we been truly converted? We know we have been truly converted to Jesus when we have walked away from sin. God knows those who have walked away from sin and those who haven’t. He sees our hearts. You can't fool God by going to church or by saying the right words. There are no pretenders. God sees right through us.

Are you being watched? Folks know you're a Christian and are watching you to see if God is real or fake. What message is your life sending to them? Today Pastor Bill encourages us to study to be approved by God so that when others inspect us, we are not ashamed. When we inquire about God's Word and submit our lives to Him, we won't be ashamed of our words or our actions. There is no shame when others inspect what has been approved by God. Let's conform our lives to His Word and walk without shame.

Are you impatient? You just can't stand to wait. Is that you? Today, Pastor Bill teaches us that God takes His time. His time is different than our time. God is outside of time and space. All of time is in His view. He can see our past, present, and future all at once. It's amazing when we stop to think about it. It boggles our minds. God has good reasons why He wants us to wait. He makes plans for us knowing our future. Let's be patient and take comfort in knowing that God knows what He’s doing.

Are you mad at God? He doesn't do what you think He should when you want it done. Will you be mad at Him forever? When a bunch of bad stuff happens to us, Pastor Bill reminds us today, that that is when we need Him the most. If we get mad at God during our trials, then we refuse our only help. God purposely brings us hard times to grow us spiritually. Our faith grows when we see God come to our rescue. Instead of getting mad at God, let's remember that He knows our situation and plans to rescue us.

Did you ever watch an eagle fly? They fly so effortlessly. Are you flying like an eagle or a hummingbird? Pastor Bill encourages us today to learn to wait on the Lord and He will cause you to soar with little effort. Waiting on God is one of the hardest things we can do. We must stop striving in our own efforts and wait for His effort. When we wait on the Lord, we are actively intertwining and abiding with Him. Let's be strong in the Lord and learn to wait on His wind to lift us up and cause us to soar like an eagle.
