Are you afraid? Where is your fear coming from? In today's message, Pastor Bill tells us that God doesn't give us fear for something He calls us to do. The fear we feel when God tells us to do something comes from Satan. He brings fear to prevent God's work from getting done. In a way, the fear we feel is based on our selfishness. Many times, we are more concerned about our reputations than we are concerned about the person that God wants to bless. Let’s remember if God is for us, who can be against us?

Have you learned the art of church? You know how to talk and act at church. Are you fooling God by putting on an act? Today Pastor Bill calls us to act and talk the same way everywhere we go. Then we will have a clear conscience. When we behave one way at church and an opposite way away from the church, we are giving Satan arrows to fling back at us. Our battle against Satan is hard enough, we don't need to contribute to his ammo supply. Let's serve God with a pure conscience all the days of our lives.

Has God ever stretched your faith? Did it grate against your flesh? How did it work out? In today's message, Pastor Bill encourages us to feel fear and do it anyway. It's scary to obey God when we don't know the result. It's risky, but God always has a purpose in asking us to do scary things. He does this to increase our faith. Growing our faith always involves trusting God for something we can't see. Let's take comfort in knowing that God has already seen our future and knows how this will work out.

What is your passion in life? Your passion is what you think about the most. Is your passion to get more stuff? Pastor Bill today reminds us that, along with Godliness, it's great to gain to be content with God. This is a hard lesson to learn since the message all around us is to buy more stuff. If we could just get one more thing, then we'll be happy. It's always one more thing. But things will never satisfy our souls. We came into this world with nothing and with nothing we will depart this world. Let's focus on what lasts forever.

Jesus did it all, for you. He laid down His glory in Heaven, came down to Earth, endured man's scorn, and brutally died, for you. Will you lay down your life for Him? Today Pastor Bill reminds us that Jesus was innocent and lived for us. Knowing full well all He would face on Earth, He agreed to go through it because He loves us. He loves us. He wants to dry our tears, lift our hearts, and calm our minds here on Earth and then He wants to spend eternity with us in Heaven. Let's cling to Jesus and let Him do whatever He wants.

He's got that right. Many Pastors abuse their church's resources. Pastor Bill today teaches us what the Bible says about how the church should care for their Pastor. Balance seems to be the key here. The church shouldn't muzzle the ox as he works. But the Pastor shouldn't abuse God's people either. This balance can be tricky to obtain and requires much patience and love from both the church and from the Pastor. Let's seek to honor God with our giving and our attitudes toward blessing our spiritual leaders.

Will God bless you if you aren't living right before God? Does God favor some folks, but not others? Pastor Bill today teaches us that God values those who are living right before Him. We can't expect God to bless us or show us a favor if we are not obeying His Word. The blessings that God gives aren't always financial. Instead of money, God may bless someone who honors Him with love, joy, peace, protection, or health. Let's live our lives honoring and obeying God for He cares deeply for His children.

Do you see the folks in your church as your family? Are you close to them? Do you let them get close to you? Today, Pastor Bill explains that Jesus defined His family as those who do the will of His Father. Jesus’ family and our family are those who do God's will. Yes, we have natural families, but our spiritual family is extra special. We will spend eternity with our spiritual family, but not so with the unbelievers in our natural family. Let's treat our spiritual family with the same love that Jesus has for us.

Has God radically changed you? You once hated Jesus, but now you love Him. Are you a living testimony of Jesus? Today, Pastor Bill shares his testimony where he saw the life of his drinking buddy change drastically because of Jesus. This drastic life change proved that Jesus was true. Those whose lives have radically changed have an excellent weapon against the enemy who traps others in their sin. Let's remember to allow our lives to shine the light of Christ to those stuck in this darkened world.

Do you take good care of your body? You try to eat right and exercise. Do you take good care of your spirit? Pastor Bill notes that a healthy spirit impacts us well beyond our lifetimes. We may put a lot of time into building up our bodies and we may look and feel great. But what does that benefit us when our body dies? We may be set for life, but are we set for death? Our spiritual condition is way more important than our bodily condition. Let's listen to our spiritual trainer as He pours His life into us.
