If you’re trying to give everything away or you’re volunteering hours at your local church to get God’s approval, stop. Today Pastor Bill will encourage you to check your heart. Although all those things are good, they’re not going to make God love you more. The greatest gift you can give to the Lord is you. No amount of materialistic things or money could matter more. No large amount of works of service or time given to the church. If your heart is not in it for Him, it doesn’t matter.

As you listen to today’s message with Pastor Bill, allow your spirit to be challenged. When you find yourself constantly saying, “I can’t”, it’s usually not because you can’t. Rather, it’s because you won’t. You see, God has given you the Holy Spirit to help you do more than you could ever think or imagine. You are able to overcome your flesh…but not on your own. Through the blood of Jesus, and by the help of His Spirit, you can. So stop trying to live on your own. Trust in the One who made you.

You may think the darkness of this world is new, but did you know the darkness began long before you were born? Throughout the ages, people have walked with and then run from God. The temptations of the world can be strong and the enemy seeks to destroy anything that’s good. But as you’ll learn in today’s message with Pastor Bill, you don’t have to give in to the world. The Bible says that if you believe in Him, Jesus lives within you. By His Spirit, you are able to overcome the darkness.

Jesus…there’s no other name more meaningful or being more redemptive. As you listen to today’s message with Pastor Bill, take a moment and be reminded of the grace of God. Think about all the good and bad in your life. Then think about all the ways God has redeemed you. The Bible says that Jesus lives to intercede for you and me. This means, that even when you do mess up and sin, you’re forgiven in Christ. Just knowing that truth should motivate you to live differently. Don’t waste the gift of Jesus!

Leprosy was an incurable disease in Biblical times. If you had it, it would eventually lead to death, and you couldn’t even spend time with healthy people anymore if you had it. Pastor Bill’s going to take you to the book of Leviticus today to show you how deadly and life-changing it was for the worse. Sin is the same way. It leads to death and a life isolated from the joys you had before in life. And just like leprosy, the ONLY way to cure it is to go to God for healing and to give it all to Him.

In Biblical times, if you ever got leprosy, you had to isolate yourself from the rest of society. Life was completely different. You couldn’t see your family, you had to be expelled from the camp, and you had to make sure everyone else knew you were unclean. Just like leprosy, sin separates, too. It separates you from God and enjoying life in His presence. Sin will eventually lead to death, Spiritually speaking, just like leprosy, and Pastor Bill wants you to know today how dangerous it is to continue in sin.

Leprosy was a serious ailment in Biblical times. When it first showed up on your body, you’d have to see if it was just a spot or under the surface of your skin. If it was deep, it was leprosy. Today, Pastor Bill’s going to show you that sin is the same way. Oftentimes, it starts under the surface of your life in ways that others can’t see. As you fall deeper and deeper into it, it’ll be more evident in your life. Only you and God know the condition of your heart. If you’re living in secret sin, you need to go to God for healing.

Even if you stumble in your walk with God, you can still confess any sins in your life and be right with God again. There’s no sin too great for God to forgive. Pastor Bill wants you to know today that there’s not a point where you can’t turn to God and be forgiven of your sins and live in His presence and will again. The Israelites sinned against God over and over in the Old Testament, but God always showed them grace and forgave them when they realized where they’d gotten and turned back to Him.

God gave Israel very specific rules for what kind of animals they could and couldn’t eat. Even though they might not have known all the reasons behind it, they were still commanded to follow Him. Today, we know it was for their health and that they’d be far better off abstaining from certain types of food. Pastor Bill wants you to know that today, even if the purpose behind it might be unclear, God’s commands and direction for your life need to be followed. They’re His will and for your good, even if you don’t know how.
