Episode #112: Soap - "Episode 1"
Release Date: June 16, 2018

Yes, Patrick and Kat are back after a short hiatus, sorry gals, life beckons; and this week we dip into the world of Soap, a brave sitcom from the late 70s that was a whimsical parody of the soap opera genre. The series starred legends such as Billy Crystal as television's first openly gay man, Richard Mulligan as a man with a guilty conscience that led to impotency, and Scott Baio's cousin, Jimmy, as a teenager with a pimple who hides porno magazines under his mattress. Plus, there's a MURDER MYSTERY! OOGA!

Also, Patrick is in the midst of an intense American Dad rewatch and can you believe that Soap premiered the same night as the jump the shark episode of Happy Days?

Episode #111: Yes, Dear - "Big Brother-in-Law"
Release Date: May 19, 2018

This week, Patrick and Kat revisit the basically forgotten early 2000s sitcom, Yes, Dear, but mostly because of its connection with our guilty pleasure, Big Brother. Believe it or not, in one 2003 episode, Mike O'Malley's character, Jimmy, ended up being a contestant on the popular summer series, with disastrous results.

Plus, why do the houseguests always whisper on Big Brother, and what does Joe Millionaire look like today? And, Rest in Peace, Lara Flynn Boyle's character from Las Vegas who was knocked off the roof of the Montecito by a gust of wind.

Patrick and Kat can't believe it's taken them 110 episodes to get to Blossom, but they finally got there and they pick one of the most controversial episodes of the series ever. Yes, Special Guest Star James Marsden asks Blossom out on a date, and well, let's just say men suck.

Plus, is Nick Russo one of the most woke television dads ever and find out if Patrick and Kat want to either fuck, marry, or kill their fave TV dad. Also, Rest in Peace, Harry Anderson. Whoa!

Episode #109: Boy Meets World - "Seven the Hard Way"
Release Date: April 13, 2018

It's the final installment of our T.G.I.F. themed episodes, and this week Patrick and Kat are heading back on over to Boy Meets World land. We chose a popular late-in-series run, where Eric has a weird daydream that it's seven years later and the whole friend group has disbanded over some silly argument that happened in a previous episode.

Plus, why do we hate Rachel (and most Rachels in general), which members of the cast does Kat want to fuck, marry, and kill, and which character on Boy Meets World was probably super into Vertical Horizon?

Episode #108: Dinosaurs - "A New Leaf"
Release Date: March 11, 2018

In part three of our foray into the wonderful world of T.G.I.F., Patrick and Kat ventured back millions of years just to spend twenty-something-ish minutes with Dinosaurs, the popular early 90s sitcom produced by Jim Henson's crew and Michael Jacobs. We decided to watch the controversial episode, "A New Leaf" in which everyone's favorite father and son duo, Earl and Robbie Sinclair, get super-stoned on some hip pre-historic weed-like plant. But don't be fooled, it's not entirely a dumb anti-drug PSA, because some wild shit happens at the end.

Plus, what will it take for Kat Halstead to finally watch Jessica Jones and Patrick's questions whether or not if dinosaurs actually walked the Earth all those years ago.

Episode #107: Perfect Strangers - "Because They're Cousins"
Release Date: February 14, 2018

Patrick and Kat take another leap into the world of classic T.G.I.F. with an episode of Perfect Strangers from 1990. This is the one where Balki's cousin Bart comes into town, and Larry quickly discovers that Bart may be scamming Balki out of his life savings. Oh, and Bronson Pinchot portrays the role of Cousin Bart using that weird Patty Duke-esque green screen technology. It's wild... kind of.

Plus, find out what kind of lunchbox did Patrick have in the late 80s and also learn which Perfect Strangers cast member got left behind in the rapture in The Leftovers-land.

Episode #106: Family Matters - "Laura's First Date"
Release Date: February 4, 2018

For the next batch of episodes, we will be dipping into the wacky world of ABC's Friday Night branded sitcom-a-palooza, TGIF. We couldn't think of a better way to kick off this monumental occasion than with the first appears of Steve Urkel, ever, on an early season one episode of Family Matters.

Plus, we also talk about the Urkel mania that swept the early 1990s and how as children we fell victim to this fad. Also, the awkwardness of middle school dances and find out which Family Matters actress is still our fave today (spoiler alert: it's Telma Hopkins).

Episode #105: Archie: To Riverdale and Back Again (1990)
Release Date: January 16, 2018

Before the The CW blessed us with their rendition of Archie Comics, NBC attempted to turn the wacky world of Riverdale into a weekly television series about Archie and pals as thirty-somethings. The series never came to fruition, but a backdoor pilot in the guise of a made-for-television movie does exist. Oh, and it's amazing in its own strange ways.

This week, Patrick and Kat tracked down a grainy copy on YouTube and decided it was time to head To Riverdale and Back Again, which is such a wordy title.

Episode #104: The Black Cauldron (1985)
Release Date: January 1, 2018

The holidays are over and Patrick and Kat have decided to slip back into the wonderful world of Disney, and their biggest financial disaster is the perfect stepping stone. Yes, Patrick and Kat decided to check out The Black Cauldron, a film that did so poorly it nearly crippled Walt Disney's animated film legacy. Anyway, Patrick loved the film and Kat was barely even remotely interested, which makes this a film episode.

Plus, what were Richard Mulligan and Jane Kaczmarek up to in 1985? And find out which A-List actress will never be at a gal pal status with us. Oh, and where the fuck has Amy Heckerling been hiding these last few years?

Episode #103: ER - "A Miracle Happens Here"
Release Date: December 28, 2017

Get ready for a holiday hangover, because Patrick and Kat are officially closing the book on Christmas 2017. It's been a wild ride, but the time has come for us to return to random ass episodes of Family Matters, but before we get there, we are taking one last stroll down Candy Cane Lane with a stopover at the hospital from ER. In case you weren't alive in the 1990s, ER was all the rage. The series gave birth to George Clooney being launched into super stardom and also launched a million boners for Noah Wyle.

Anyway, tonight Patrick and Kat decided to check out a Christmas episode from season two, where a priest is shot, Carol thinks one of her patients is Santa Clause, and, I dunno, some other things happen.

Plus, we get a little catty about Grey's Anatomy, Chicago Hope, and any other hospital drama that is not ER. If that's not enough to get you listen, we also drop a few HOT SCOOPS about our 2018 plans for the podcast. So, Merry Christmas, Ryan and I hope you get the carrier pigeon before you hear this episode.
