A Voice for Men

This episode of A Voice for Men Radio, on May 24, 2011 at 8:00 p.m. CST is all about the activism.  In your f-ing face activism.

AVfM has demonstrated in a relatively short period of time that small groups of very dedicated activists can get some things done, and quite easily.  We are not yet near the realization of our potential, but we do know one thing for sure.

We are getting noticed.

And as much as many mainstream feminists are still trying to pretend we don’t exist, we are making some of them very, very nervous. Recently they have even tried to use a court of law to shut us up.

God I love the sound of that. In fact, I was disappointed that no gag order was issued so that I could defy it with scathing, provocative editorials and a radio special.

But we are well on our way to that, and this show will mark the moment we took the first small step toward the next level. 

It’s an all MRA night at AVfM Radio, and if you are an MRA (emphasis on the A) or seriously want to become one, you will really enjoy this show, and you will get a chance to add your good ideas into the mix.

One caveat, with all respect, we benefit most, not from people who want to say what we “ought” to do, but from those who want to say what they are willing to do themselves, and what they are doing. 

This type of show will become a regular feature on AVfM Radio in the future, so please join me, and your new co-host JTO, for an open discussion about how we are going to get in their faces…and stay there.

We will begin our next A Voice for Men Radio show with an update on the Vladek Filler affair; a review of media coverage surrounding the pending rape case and Mary Kellett’s attempt to keep everyone on the entire planet from talking about it.

We will move on from there, though, with a very special guest who attended the most recent “SlutWalk” in Vancouver, British Columbia.  This MRA took the grand tour, interviewing several of the self-proclaimed sluts, asking them questions about what the SlutWalk meant to them.  He will join us live on the program to translate their answers from Slutese to English, which should be quite an education.

There has been a lot of speculation about the real nature of the SlutWalks. I have heard every possible interpretation from social event to fashion statement to a vanity parade for the facially and anatomically challenged. Then, of course, there is the reasons given by the promoters, which is to stop the world thinking that women can play a role in their own personal safety.

Not so sure about that last one.

Anyway, if you have your own ideas about the SlutWalks and what they mean, and I am sure you do, just call in to the show (or skype in if you are a registered listener) and let us hear what’s on your mind.

Of course slutologists, amateur or professional, are welcome to give their opinions as well. We are all about inclusion here.

This program’s topic will be “Crazy-Proofing your Romantic Life (and Life in General).” Crazy, entitled, predatory bullies can be found just about anywhere—your marriage, your family, your office, your church, the PTA, your softball league, etc., etc. Therefore, knowing how to spot these types and how to deal with them if you can’t avoid them or go completely No Contact is essential.

Dr. T will be touching on some of the information from How to Crazy-Proof Yourself After Breaking Up with or Divorcing an Abusive Girlfriend or Wife, Part 1 and additional material. “No drop” prosecutions are becoming a plague in the American judicial system.  The term refers to a case that a prosecutor will pursue at all costs, even if it means the willful conviction of an innocent person. 

Right now in the state of Maine one of those prosecutions has led to the harassment and abuse of Vladek Filler and quite likely a number of other innocent men. And as reported in the Bangor Daily News, it is beginning to cause an uproar.

On this episode of AVfM Radio we are going to take a closer look at no drop prosecutions and their sometimes horriffic consequences.  We will be joined by attorney Robert Franklin of Father’s and Families. Also joining us will be Attorney Lisa Scott of Taking Action Against Bias in the System (TAABS).

This show will be a second consecutive look at the second Vladek Filler sham trial about to be conducted in Maine by Mary Kellett and the Bar Harbors Prosecutor's Office. Special guests will be nationally known private investigator TJ Ward and author Phil Cook of S.A.V.E.. We will be highlighting efforts to convince the prosecution in this case to drop the charges against Mr. Filler.

Bar Harbor, Maine prosecutor Mary Kellett is conducting what appears to be a modern day witch hunt. She is prosecuting alleged rapists with no forensic evidence, even after law enforcement officials concluded there was no reason to make an arrest. At least one of her convictions has been overturned due to prosecutorial misconduct, but amazingly she is seeking to retry the same man in that case, again with no forensic evidence. Kellett is also accused of preventing exculpatory evidence, evidence that would exonerate the accused, from reaching the jury...by any means necessary. Join us with special guests Attorney Lisa Scott of T.A.B.S. and E. Bartlett of S.A.V.E. as we discuss the implications of this hair raising story of persecution and legal corruption being conducted in broad daylight.
