A Walk in the Park

In this episode, Ris and Babs talk about the Barbie movie, Yosemite bear sightings, the ailments of aging, upcoming travel, and more. Special guest appearances by Vivian and, her friend, Audrey. Please listen and enjoy!

Babs daughter Vivian did a two-week summer enrichment program out at UCSD (Kinesiology and Physical Therapy) and Babs decided it would make a good “summer filler” podcast episode. There is a great Flag Football; clip at the end, so be sure not to miss THAT! Lol.

In this Mini-Sode, Babs talks about how climate change is and will affect air travel, her shameful, dirty (literally) on-going contribution to anthropogenic climate change, which she will have to try to address. The episode does go a bit rambling about halfway through, but we all need to care about the climate crisis and do what we can. Please listen and enjoy (and care)!

In this episode, Ris and Babs discuss the joys of appliance shopping, the woes of office space, the joys of alcohol, the woes of booking air travel, the joys of being emailed to run for public office, and the woes/joys of aging.

Please listen and enjoy!

Hello, listeners - in this “mini-sode” (which is like 25 minutes long, so maybe not so “mini” Lol), Ris talks about work, her job outside the home specifically. Hopefully nothing that gets her fired.

Please listen and enjoy!

Hello Listeners! In this episode, Babs catches up with MB IN-PERSON on all the exciting happenings in his life over the past month. If you want to be in the know, please listen and enjoy!

Another Babs mini-sode, focusing on her current passion: the climate crisis. She holds a large mirror up to herself, so don’t think you alone are being judged. Honestly, this episode shares some of what Babs found to be some relevant and interesting information from The Climate Book by Greta Thunberg (a book of climate-related essays by experts in their fields). This is Part One. There will ultimately be five parts. Please listen, (learn), and enjoy!

In this episode, Ris and Babs do a fair amount of life sharing on some big things (like taxes) and talk about some big things (intelligence leaks and of course a little climate-related chatter), but the best part of this episode is MBs Corner with baby birds (guest starring MB’s parents), birthday plans and more! Please listen and enjoy!

Welcome to another Babs mini-sode. In this episode Babs regales you with her recent NYC trip. Hence, Babs in the Big Apple. There’s shopping and theater and Trump. There might have been a promise of more, but you will just have to drop a comment or send a email if you miss what was missing. Please listen and enjoy!

In this episode, Ris and Babs talk about the disappointments of the Oscars, the Silicon Valley Bank failure, the Seaweed Blob heading to the Gulf of Mexico, the Climate Crisis, and more. MB joins them for MB’s Corner. Please listen and enjoy!
