A Walk With Friends

We see Peter and John going to the temple to pray and being stopped by a crippled bigger en route. Who knows?! When we are on our way to do the everyday routine things, God may have a call for us to touch and heal someone and demonstrate the power of God and lead that person unto repentance and faith in Jesus alone! Let this chapter encourage us, to let those inconveniences be moments where the super meets our natural, fulfilling the great commission and giving God all of the glory! Eyes to see and ears to hear! Jesus Christ is Lord! Lets go!

"Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away. Then times of refreshment will come from the PRESENCE of the Lord, and He will again send you Jesus, your appointed Messiah."- Acts 3:19-21

Once the Holy Spirit came upon them they were speaking in different tongues and the very first start of the great commission had happened. Don't miss this episode!

I can't think of any better way to bring in this new year than with THE BOOK OF ACTS! Said to be written by Luke the greek physician to Theophilus, an account of the  ACTS of the APOSTLES! The ones who were eye witnesses to the life, death and resurrection of our GOD! WHOA! I'm sure they have a lot to tell so let's just jump in! I hope this year is the year you go all in with God and if you've never met Him before, read along with me on this podcast as I venture through the ACTION packed pages and let's get to know GOD!

Today's chapter is a tough one. The California grey skies are fitting for the chapter. Jesus' Words from chapter 22 really resound to me as I read ch23. "There is a time" and so I welcome you to meditate with me for this time of remembrance.  The grief, the sorrow and he anguish.. Oh but in three days! WHAT a God we serve, Christ Jesus. The perfect Lamb, the Holy sacrifice.

Whoa! How good is this!? Every chapter from the book of the Luke has been so directional and challenging. In this chapter, Jesus tells us  to learn lessons from stories about asking, praying and what it is and what it takes to follow Him and enter the Kingdom of God. This chapter helps us understand how to come broken and contrite before the Him, how to cry out and he hears us! And that we can obey commandments, but Jesus also says to give our earthly treasures to the poor and our treasures will be in Heaven. Wow! What a meditation for this Christmas season. Not to covet to ourselves, but to give!!
