It’s official, after the endless planning, shopping, and fantasizing, the boys are finally visiting their girlfriends in CA over the long winter break! Let the insane amount of snodging begin. Even though the boys are there and love is in the air, for the first time ever, Amanda and Jenae (our bet is mostly Amanda!) start to question fantasyland, and if it is time to SHUT.IT.DOWN!? The Shame Wizard visited these teenage girls, most likely making them feel “weird” for living their best fantasy life with Dan and Tom. Their 14 year old selves are on the eve of Christmas, and are so excited for Daniel and Tom to come out for their trip of never-ending fun.  There is so much shopping, which includes a super fugly suit that Jenae will wear when signing her prenup with Daniel. Amanda gets teary eyed when Tom talks about how happy he is that they met. The catfish returns, and Jenae wants her to be dropped into a BAG OF TRUTH folks. Amanda and Jenae are letting their cringe flags fly in this episode and a conversation between Brené Brown and Domee Shi (Turning Red director) on “Unlocking Us” only reinforces the girls intense flag-waving. The girls waste no time jumping into their dream world because there is much to fantasize about. Amanda is anxious for Tom’s arrival so she can smooch his head off then take him on a roller coaster or two which he loves (or so she imagines). Jenae is jonesing for that second date with Daniel during his jam-packed SoCal visit. To keep the meet cute options open Jenae concocts another whimsical way to meet the boys - a magical ferris wheel ride. Thankfully, Amanda and Jenae’s 9th grade Geography teacher reminded them that Daniel is just a person like us (quite apparent that they obsessively talked about them in class too!)
