Laura Boggess has an M.A. in clinical psychology and works on a medical rehabilitation unit, counseling individuals and families going through traumatic medical diagnoses such as brain injury, spinal cord injury and stroke. Her newest novel, Mildred’s Garden, was released in September 2021. Laura and her husband, Jeff, are empty-nesting in a little valley in West Virginia with their slightly over-indulged Boston terrier, Bonnie. Follow Laura on Instagram @lauraboggess.

CHRISTINA KUKUK has been an ordained pastor in the United Church of Christ for more than sixteen years. A writer and pastor now living in Oregon, Christina started working at her local newspaper in high school, writing meeting briefs, wedding notes, and obituaries after school. She attended journalism school at Kent State University and worked as a business reporter for the Akron Beacon Journal in Ohio. Since then, her freelance work has appeared in numerous publications.
