Well, it took all 18 weeks of the NFL season but the Philadelphia Eagles have finally locked up the #1 overall seed in the NFC and are NFC East Champions. On Sunday the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the New York Giants in what was a closer game than expected by a score of 22-16. Jalen Hurts returned from an injured shoulder to play for the Eagles but did not look like the MVP of the league after missing 2 weeks. Giants killer Boston Scott scored the only touchdown for the Eagles Sunday night. On Saturday the Philadelphia Phillies made a trade with the Detroit Tigers to acquire All-Star closer Gregory Soto. The Philadelphia Flyers closed out their West Coast road trip with a 4-1 win over the Anaheim Ducks at the Honda Center Monday night.
