With this being Mock Draft Season for the NHL it's time to look at a few prospects to see who will fit best in the system the Flyers run. Tonight the guys will begin looking at 3 prospects in the draft that could end up falling to the Flyers at 12. The 2024 NHL Draft isn't super deep this year. There will always be speculation that the Flyers will move the 12 pick but until that officially happens, who do you think is selected with the 12th overall pick in the NHL Draft?

Another week has passed, and the Stanley Cup Playoffs continue to roll on. There have been some surprises here in the 2nd round. The New York Rangers showed a sign of weakness after losing their last 2 to the Carolina Hurricanes. The Boston Bruins are on the verge of elimination against the Florida Panthers, will they find a way to stay alive?

The Vancouver Canucks look to upset the Oilers and take a commanding 3-1 Tuesday Night. Finally, the Stars look also to take a choke hold on their series against the Avalanche. Who do you have winning these Series?

Zack Wheeler struggled in his start as the Philadelphia Phillies lost to the Miami Marlins in 10 innings 7-6. Nick Castellanos hit another home run, his 4th of the year, to give the Phillies an early lead in the game however the Marlins got to Wheeler. The Phillies won 2 out of 3 games in Miami this weekend. The Phillies take on the New York Mets and the Washington Nationals this upcoming week. The 2nd Round of the NBA Playoffs is in action.

With 2 home runs against the Marlins, Nick Castellanos has gotten over his early season struggles. Join the fellas and let them know if you Agree or Disagree with that statement. The guys will also look ahead at the upcoming week for the Phillies as they take on the Mets and Nationals.

The panel will whip around the NBA Playoffs and updates of the active series. Finally, the guys will end the show as they always do with their Crumb of the Week segment.   Like, Comment, and Subscribe for more!    / a2dradio   Facebook:   / a2dradio   Instagram:   / a2dradio   X:   / a2dradio   Website: http://a2dradio.com/

The Philadelphia Phillies winning streaks came to end Wednesday afternoon after losing to the Toronto Blue Jays.  The Phillied had been winners of 7 straight games overall and 11 straight games at home before today’s loss.  Aaron Nola struggled throughout his start for the Phillies and the offense went silent against Blue Jays starter Chris Bassitt.  The Phillies offense struggled to produce enough runs to win today’s game like they had been able to in the past.  Bryce Harper’s home run streak also ends today after hitting a home run in 3 consecutive games.  Philadelphia Sixers President of Basketball Operations Daryl Morey gave his end of season press conference outlining his thoughts and plans for the offseason.  The Phillies play next on Friday as they take on the Miami Marlins in South Florida.
After his last two starts you are starting to get concerned about Aaron Nola.  Join the guys and let them know if you Agree or Disagree to that statement.  Nola was pulled after 4 innings in his start against the Giants and struggled in the 6th inning today against the Blue Jays.  Can the Phillies rebound as they hit the road against NL East foes starting with the Marlins this weekend.  The guys will also react to Daryl Morey’s end of season press conference and what that might mean for the Sixers offseason plans.  Join the discussion LIVE!!

The offseason has officially begun for the teams outside the Playoffs. Tonight will be the NHL Draft Lottery to decide the Draft Order for the NHL Entry Level Draft. The Flyers enter the Lottery currently in 12th in the draft order. They don't have great odds to land the Number 1 overall. There has never been a team that jumped 11 spots to land the 1st overall. Can the Flyers be the first? If they don't land a top-10 pick, will they trade up and get into the top-10?

With the offseason in full swing for the Philadelphia Flyers, a lot of rumors start to swirl around on how the team can take the next step. There are quite a few names in the rumor mill that could either be traded or bought out. Joel Farabee is a top trade candidate who could be on the move. Some other names include Morgan Frost, Sean Couturier, and Cam Atkinson to name a few. Who do you want to see the Flyers move to help take this team to the next level?

The Philadelphia Eagles did a fantastic job addressing most of their needs in the 2024 NFL Draft. However, no team in a hard cap league is perfect. We will discuss what needs still remain for the Philadelphia Eagles in late July and potential fits for those needs.

Don't forget, as always, former Eagles beat writer and journalist Les Bowen will join the conversation for our weekly “Bowen on the Birds” segment!

Alec Bohm hit a double to lead off the 7th inning extending his hitting streak to 18 games Sunday night.  The Philadelphia Phillies defeat the San Francisco Giants by a score of 5 - 4.  Byrce Harper hit a 3 run home run, his 7th of the season, in the 3rd inning off of Brandon Webb.  Trea Turner has been added to the injured list after tweaking his hamstring in Friday night's game.  Turner is expected to miss at least 6 weeks with the injury.  The Phillies have won 5 games in a row and have won 9 of their last 10 games.  The Philadelphia Sixers were eliminated from the playoffs on Thursday by Jalen Brunson and the New York Knicks.  Joel Embiid, Tobias Harris, Tyrese Maxey, and the Sixers once again fell short of expectations.

Alex Bohm will continue his hitting streak to at least 20 games.  Join the guys and let them know if you Agree or Disagree with that statement.  The guys will look at how the Phillies can continue to stay hot with the loss of Trea Turner for at least 6 weeks.  The guys will also discuss how the Sixers can finally get over the hump in the playoffs after another disappointing end to the season.  What direction will the front office go heading into this offseason with essentially a blank canvas on the roster.  Finally the guys will end the show as they always do with their Crumb of the Week segment.
