Maxey hit a game tying 35 foot 3 point with 8.1 second left in regulation to send Game 5 against the New York Knicks to overtime.  Jalen Brunson missed a final attempt at the buzzer for the Knicks chance to avoid overtime.  Joel Embiid recorded a triple double with 19 points, 16 rebounds, and 10 assists.  The Sixers also saw good performances from Tobias Harris and Kelly Oubre Jr who had 19 and 14 points respectively.  The New York Knicks still lead the best of 7 series 3 - 2 with the series shifting back to Philadelphia for Game 6.  Alec Bohm extended his hitting streak to 15 games.  The Philadelphia Phillies defeated the Los Angeles Angels 2-1, winning another series and ending their road trip with a 7-3 record.  The Phillies were the first team in MLB to record 20 wins, and now 21 with the victory today.  The Phillies return home to welcome the San Francisco Giants for the weekend series.
The Sixers will WIN Game 6 to force a Game 7.  Join the show and let them know if you #Agree or #Disagree with that statement.  The guys will also look ahead to Game 6 and what the Sixers can do to push this series to Game 7.  The fellas will also look at the Phillies and their recent hot streak.  The Phillies have won back to back series and are 7-3 in their last 10 games.

The Philadelphia Flyers are coming off one of their best seasons in a long time. They fell just short of the Playoffs by 4 points on the last day of the regular season to the Washington Capitals. The bad stretch 2 weeks from the end of the season was pretty much the nail in the coffin for the Flyers playoff hopes. This organization is looking to take another step forward in rebuilding. Who has to be the guy that steps up or takes a massive step forward to lead the Flyers to the Playoffs?

The Flyers offense could be getting some unexpected help possibly sooner than later. Alexander Appleyard and Matvei Michkov could wind up in a Flyers uniform much sooner than anticipated. Michkov drafted 7th overall by the Flyers in the 2023 Draft wasn't expected to be over in America until roughly the 2026/2027 season due to his contract with the KHL.

According to Appleyard, the Flyers and the SKA Chairman have a good relationship which could lead to Michkov coming to Philadelphia as early as this offseason. Will Michkov wear the Orange and Black this coming season?

Joel Embiid scored 1 point in the entire 4th quarter as the Philadelphia 76ers lost to the New York Knicks in Game 4, 97 - 92.  Knicks guard Jalen Brunson led all scorers with 47 points and 10 assists in the pivotal Game 4.  The Knicks got the all important split on the road and will return back home looking to end the series in Game 5.  Embiid led the sixers with 27 points, Tyrese Maxey scored 23 points, and Kelly Oubre Jr scored 19 for the Sixers.  The Philadelphia Phillies defeated the San Diego Padres 8 - 6 on Sunday completing the sweep on the weekend.  The Phillies have won 4 games in a row and head up the road to take on the Los Angeles Angels starting Monday.  The NFL Draft was this past weekend and the Philadelphia Eagles had a great draft by selecting cornerbacks Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean with their first two picks.

The Sixers will bring this series back to Philly with a win in Game 5.  Join the fellas and let them know if you Agree or Disagree to that statement.  The guys will discuss the embarrassing 4th quarter from the Sixers in Game 4.  Can they come back to Philly for Game 6?  The panel will also look at the past week for the PHillies and the upcoming series against the Angels.  The group will also give their grades for the Eagles draft and give their Winners and Losers throughout the NFL.  Finally the guys will end the show as they always do with their Crumb of the Week segment.

Unfortunately, the Flyers have fallen just short of reaching the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Looks like it's time to start looking at the roster and see how they can improve it. With that comes trade rumors. One of the ones popping up early is Joel Farabee according to NHL Insider Elliott Friedman. He claimed his platform 32 Thoughts. Drafted by the Flyers in 2018, the 24-year-old winger is coming off a season where he played all 82 games finishing with 22 goals and 28 assists. He did set a career-high in goals, assists, and points. There will be other names popping up in the next few weeks for sure so it could be a wild offseason. Would you trade Joel Farabee this offseason or ride with Beezer heading into next season?

The NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs are upon us! This is the best time of the year if you're a true hockey fan, and you love how wild and unpredictable the Stanley Cup Playoffs can be. There have been many series upsets and underdogs that have gone on to win the Cup. The guys will be discussing what has happened to date and their thoughts on each series in the First Round of the Playoffs. Let the guys know your thoughts on what has happened so far.

It’s time for a Philadelphia Eagles Mock Draft! Your hosts at Eagles Talk will use a draft simulator to predict who they believe the Eagles will take in this year’s NFL Draft. Howie Roseman has been notorious for trading up to get the guy he wants. Will this year be the same? And if they do trade up from 22nd overall, which player will it be for?

Also, in honor of the movie “Draft Day”, each host will give their “No Matter What” prospect for the Eagles. Who is the one guy that each of them believes the team needs to draft above everyone else? They’ll also dive into some other draft takes and predictions as they prepare for Thursday’s draft.

And don’t forget, as always, former Eagles beat writer and journalist Les Bowen will join the conversation for our weekly “Bowen on the Birds” segment!

Joel Embiid’s status for Game 2 is unclear as the Philadelphia 76ers look to rebound against the New York Knicks.  Joel Embiid briefly left Game 1 after reinjuring his knee.  His return to the game wasn’t enough to complete the comeback.  With Embiid’s injury, Tyrese Maxey led the Sixers in scoring with 33 points in Game 1.  The Philadelphia Phillies have won 6 games in a row after beating the Chicago White Sox Sunday afternoon 8-2.  With the win Sunday, the Phillies have swept their last two series.  The Phillies will start the week on the road taking on the Cincinnati Reds.  The Phillies will be on the road for the next 10 games.  After the Reds, they will take on the San Diego Padres followed by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.

The Sixers will bounce back and win Game 2.  Join us and tell us if you Agree or Disagree with that statement.  The guys will give their keys to victory for Game 2.  The fellas will also look to the streaking Phillies and what this upcoming road trip can do for the team.  Finally, the guys will end the show as they always do with their Crumb of the Week segment.
