The Philadelphia Flyers announced yesterday that they signed Swedish Forward Oscar Eklind. The 25-year-old, 6 foot-4 inch, 220-pound winger signed a 1-year deal with the Flyers starting in the 2024/2025 season. He is coming off a season where he played for Lulea HF of the Swedish Hockey League. Eklind led the team in a few stats for Lulea including Goals, Hits, Powerplay Goals, and Penalty Minutes. Will Oscar Eklind find ways to help the offense and even improve the Power Play next season?

Within the last 24 hours, the Flyers' upper brass have come out and admitted that they were expecting to lose Carter Hart at some point this season. This saga has been quite the story as details have spilled out. It definitely hasn't turned out the way the Flyers wanted it to. What makes this situation tolerable is the fact they have goalies in the pipeline who are ready to continue their development within the Flyers organization. John Tortorella has put all his faith in Ersson saying, “I made the decision that I’m gonna live or die with Errs when I played him all those games.” Did Torts make the right call by deciding to “live or die'' with Ersson?

Joel Embiid DAZZLES in his return to the Philadelphia Sixers lineup after nearly two months away due to injury. The Sixers defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 109 - 105 Tuesday night despite missing Tyrese Maxey. Kelly Oubre Jr led the Sixers with 25 points followed by Joel Embiid’s 24 points in his return. The Sixers will face the Miami Heat on Thursday night. Bryce Harper hit 3 home runs, including a Grand Slam, as the Phillies evened up the series against the Cincinnati Reds. Brandon Marsh also homered for the Phillies while Spencer Turnbull and Ricardo Pinto pitched well in the victory. Former Phillie Mitch Williams will join the show with his Here’s the Thing segment. Joel Embiid’s return to the Philadelphia 76ers lineup is pending.  Embiid has been a full participant in the team's most recent practices.  Tyrese Maxey, left hip tightness, will miss tonight’s game against the Toronto Raptors.  The Philadelphia Phillies avoided the dreaded opening series sweep by defeating the Atlanta Braves 5-4.  Kyle Schwarber hit his first home run of the season and Alec Bohm drove in two runs in the seventh inning to push the Phillies past the Braves.  The Phillies welcome in the Cincinnati Reds for a series to start the week.

After months of speculation and anticipation, Jade Cargill finally makes her first appearance as a Smackdown superstar.
