t has long been rumored that Philadelphia Eagles star edge rusher Haason Reddick could be traded this offseason. With the acquisition of Bryce Huff and last year’s 1st round pick Nolan Smith now entering his sophomore season with higher expectations, the belief around the league is that a trade is imminent, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler. He also cited the Arizona Cardinals and Atlanta Falcons as possible destinations.

If the Eagles do end up trading Reddick, what should they get back in return? Would a 2nd round pick be a fair deal, considering his new team would have to give him a new contract? The Eagles Talk panel will give their thoughts and whether it would be a good decision to move on from Reddick. As the rush of NFL Free Agency dies down and the focus shifts to the NFL Draft, we’ll also take a look at the roster as it is now and break down what the biggest remaining needs are. Has Howie Roseman done a good enough drop filling all of the glaring holes so far? What positions do the Eagles need to focus on heading into the draft?

Former Eagles beat writer and journalist Les Bowen will join the conversation for our weekly “Bowen on the Birds” segment!

The Philadelphia Phillies open their 2024 season this week. The 2023 season didn’t end the way the players or fans wanted it to so the Phillies are hoping to change that outcome. Bryce Harper has officially moved to first base, Zack Wheeler and Aaron Nola were re-signed, and Trea Turner has a year of experience playing in Philly. According to Draftkings the Phillies over/under win total is 89.5 games, while their odds to win the NL East are +310. The Phillies currently have the 6th best odds to win the World Series at +1400 behind the Los Angeles Dodgers, Atlanta Braves, Houston Astros, Baltimore Orioles, and the New York Yankees.

The Phillies will WIN the NL East this year. Join the fellas and let them know if you Agree or Disagree to that statement. The guys will also look back at the opening weekend of March Madness and see how the tournament shapes up heading to the Sweet 16 next weekend. Finally, the guys will end the show as they always do with their Crumb of the Week segment. Join the discussion LIVE!!!

The Road to WrestleMania 40 continues tonight on Smackdown when Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns meet Face-To-Face ahead of their Undisputed WWE Universal Championship match on Night 2. Paul Heyman has promised that no other members of The Bloodline will be present during this confrontation. This would be the first time since the Royal Rumble that both stars would be in the ring alone since Rhodes won the Royal Rumble and called Roman out post match. What tricks do the Tribal Chief and The Bloodline have in store for “The American NIghtmare”? On AEW Dynamite this week, both the TNT Championship and the AEW Continental Championships changed hands. Kazuchika Okada and Eddie Kingston went to war over the title with Okada ultimately coming out on top and thus splitting up the AEW Triple Crown Championship. Was it the right move to put a title on Okada so early? How has Okada’s heel run been? Adam Copeland and his longtime tag team partner/best friend/ rival Christian had an “I Quit” match to cap off the show with Copeland making the reigning Champion say “I Quit”. What is next for the WWE Hall of Famer as he makes his way through the AEW roster? #wwe #codyrhodes #romanreigns

The Philadelphia Flyers have announced Tuesday that Captain Sean Couturier will be a Healthy Scratch against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Couturier, who was named Captain February 14th, has not played up to standard since dawning the “C”. The regular season stats through 64 games are average at best. He currently has11 goals and 36 points. He also only has 1 point in his last 5 games, which was an assist against these same Maple Leafs. Coach John Tortorella is holding him to a very high standard and should be. Will benching Captain Sean Couturier light a fire under him and really get him going heading into the Playoffs?

Philadelphia Flyers announced that they have signed former Winger Wayne Simmonds to a 1 day contract. Simmonds intends on retiring from the NHL after 15 seasons but wants to retire as a member of the Philadelphia Flyers. Simmonds was beloved by the fanbase for his hard nosed, physical style. He spent 8 years in Philly scoring 203 goals and 175 assists in 584 games with the Flyers. This is a guy who always left everything he had out on the ice. The Flyers will celebrate Wayne's career on April 13th against the New Jersey Devils. What's next for the Wayne Train? Could there be a front office job in the wake for him?

After one week of NFL Free Agency, the Philadelphia Eagles and General Manager Howie Roseman have been one of the most active and aggressive teams so far, which should come as no surprise. After the signings of Saquon Barkley and Bryce Huff, the team has followed that up by bringing back safety Chauncey Gardner-Johnson, signing former Tampa Bay Buccaneers linebacker Devin White, and trading for quarterback Kenny Pickett from the Pittsburgh Steelers. The panel at Eagles Talk will break down and hand out grades for each of these moves. They’ll also discuss what other remaining free agency moves they’d like to see the Eagles make. Should they sign another safety like Justin Simmons or Julian Blackmon? Do they still need to sign a cornerback? Or is the team pretty much set as they prepare and head into the NFL Draft? And as always, we will be joined by former Eagles beat writer and journalist Les Bowen for our “Bowen on the Birds” segment!
