The woman on the other end said, “You don’t know me, but I thought I knew you.” Steve later found out scammers used his social media pictures on several online profiles, including dating sites and Facebook. This sent the happily married man on a journey he never expected to embark on -- straight into the path of dating scammers. In fact, the BBC featured his story on the program For Love or Money last year.
