Take my plate love … because I already ate love.
I don't remember where I first heard that line, but I do remember that my skin just lit up with energy when I did. I felt the line deep in my soul and I want to share more about that with you today.
In this episode, I break down the different ways to interpret both parts of the statement, what the statement means for me personally, what I hope this statement can mean for you, how the meaning behind this statement could literally change life as we know if we collectively embraced it, and more.

As we come around the bend of this first month of spring, there are many things to think about, reflect on, and make decisions about. It's that decision-making piece we need to discuss.
In this episode, I share why looking through the rear-view mirror when making decisions will most certainly make you crash, whether it's okay to take an occasional glimpse into the past, where and you should be looking instead as you make decisions.

I've been noticing that a lot of people are cleansing their social media pages.
Some people are taking their social media postings down, or are going through who they follow and assessing things. This is a very healthy thing to do. Everything that we sign up for and every relationship we commit to isn't necessarily going to remain the greatest experience for us over time.
In this episode, I explain why I highly recommend that we all take some time to flush out our social media pages, work on making sure what we see on our timeline brings us joy, and that what comes through our screen are messages we want to hear.

The world is starting to open back up again, and I'm noticing in my coaching practice that it's causing some anxiety.
People are feeling vulnerable because we were in our little pea pods and had a lot of time with ourselves. We discovered things about ourselves over the last 12-15 months that others didn't know about us.
In this episode, I go over how to make sure that we aren't returning to the world at large holding onto what the world knew about us then, showing up as who we are now in a vulnerable way, and serving your authentic self to others in order to receive everything you want.

I want to talk to you this week about who we are in our relationships.
Our energy tends to be focused on what we don't want people to perceive about us. We keep inventory of what's allowed to be displayed and what's not, steering our relationships based on what we want people to see us as.
In this episode, I challenge you to think about the traits and qualities that you don't want other people to see, identify what they are, and then work on what walls you are going to take down so that people can really see and accept you for you are.

Here in the United States, spring is in the air. I'm starting to see a bit of rebirth in nature, and it got me thinking about what each of our individual strengths are. This then reminded that I took a strengths assessment about a year ago and now I want to share the benefits of understanding and springing into your own strengths.
In this episode, I share what a strengths assessment can tell you about yourself, why springtime is perfect for reassessing our strengths, my top five strengths, my least dominant traits and why I found value in knowing what they are, how know your strengths is the first step towards personal internal acceptance, and more.

Something came to me in a dream recently, and I knew I had to talk about what I learned from it on this podcast.
What traits do you have that you are working to hide? It's important to accept all the pieces of who you are, even if your traits have been identified by society as unwanted.
In this episode, I dive deep into why it's important to pay attention to those traits, bring them out to yourself, get to know them, fix the ones you're uncomfortable with, and then use them in a way that serves you well.

I want to talk to you today about a conversation that took place a few weeks ago during a Facebook Live with my girls from The Ladies First Chit Chat Crew.
We had a guest on who shared a lot about her health and fitness journey. When this led to a discussion about cheating yourself to treat yourself, I knew I needed to also address this here on the podcast.
In this episode, I share the powerful details of that conversation, how my niece recently sought my support to help her not cheat herself with a man treat, the everyday challenges and achievements that lead you to treat yourself, what I want you to do in the coming week, and more.

I was giving some thought recently to how I focus and pay attention to things and that made me think about our life stories.
Is your story about what you're asking for? Or is your story about what you expect to happen?
In this episode, I share a conversation I had with a former graduate student of mine that helped me shift my own perceptions about the stories I tell myself and I challenge you to ask yourself who is writing your story, if the story you're writing for yourself is productive and supportive of what you want to be doing with your time, what your expectations are, and if writing your story based on your environment and what you've seen happen before, or if you're writing your story based on what you truly want and desire.

Steffanie R. Lopes is a long-time dance educator, performer, dancer, singer, actor, and writer who is moving toward a full-time professional performing career. She and I met because she taught my children in middle school back in New York City. When I spoke to Steffanie, I immediately saw a very powerful woman who was like a mother to my kids when they were at school.
Steffanie came to one of my vision board workshops and figured out that she needed to start amping up her vision board after everything was manifesting for her and then just stopped. I can't wait to for you to hear her story because she's living proof of the power of vision boards!
In this episode, Steffanie shares how the building she was working in was practically telling her that it was time to move on, the importance of stepping out on faith, making mental health a priority, paying attention to the signs that the universe is sending you, and the difference between putting pictures of the things that you want vs. the things that you've already achieved on your vision board.
