The silencing and censorship of Black people on social media platforms is not an isolated issue; it is part of a much larger and older project rooted in historical domination and control. This "blue recycler project," as it could be called, refers to the continued efforts to recycle colonial tactics of oppression in modern forms. The goal remains the same: to dominate Black voices and maintain control over narratives that challenge Western hegemony.

What we are witnessing today on platforms like Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram is not a glitch in the system but rather an intentional act of asphyxiation. Black activists, thinkers, and influencers who dare to ideologically challenge Western imperialism find themselves targeted, shadow-banned, de-platformed, or silenced in various ways. The algorithms are designed to suppress our visibility, making it harder to mobilize, educate, or raise awareness about systemic racism, colonialism, and the continued exploitation of Black communities.

This is not a new tactic but a continuation of historical efforts to silence Black voices. During slavery, our ancestors were prohibited from learning to read or write, as the oppressors understood that knowledge is power. Today, we see a digital form of the same control—an attempt to limit our ability to communicate, connect, and organize.

In more extreme cases, those who represent a significant threat to Western ideologies are not only censored but also physically eliminated. From the assassinations of Black revolutionary leaders in the past to the surveillance and targeting of Black activists today, the Western intention has always been to silence us, not just ideologically, but sometimes even permanently.

This worldwide silencing is systematic, collective, and deliberate. The message is clear: Black voices that disrupt the status quo must be neutralized, whether through digital censorship or physical elimination. However, this should also remind us of the power that lies within our voices. If there were no threat to the Western establishment, there would be no need to silence us.
