This week Llewelyn continued our Easter sermon series, 'The Weight of Grace', looking at Jesus' time in the Garden of Gethsemane.

He leaves us with the following questions to reflect upon this week:

1. How does this story make you feel? What do you need to bring to God?​
2. Do you struggle from ego or apathy? From inaction or action? How does that play out in your life?​
3. How can the Lord’s prayer and the story of Jesus help you?

This week Llewelyn introduced our new sermon series, 'The Weight of Grace', which will lead us into Easter.

Jesus walks into this story knowing full well where it is heading, he will allow evil to cast all of its violence on to himself in the ultimate act of grace.

Llewelyn has left us with the following questions to reflect upon this week:

1. What are your cries of injustice? Where do you see oppression in the world that you want to bring before Jesus?
2. In what ways and situations might you be an oppressor even knowingly or more likely unknowingly. What might Jesus have to say to you?
3. What expectations do you have of Jesus? Do they align with Jesus’ mission?

This week Bee brought us a message of boldness, gentleness and kindness.

She prompts us to think about people we know who have been bold in their faith, and to consider what gentleness and respect look like in our culture. 

This week Beth brought us a message from Matthew 14:25-33.

She leaves us with the following questions to reflect on.

1. Reflect on a ‘failure’ in your life. Does reframing this moment as a ‘set back’ change how you view it?
2. When you find yourself in a moment of ‘setback’ – what things hold the potential to keep you from growth?
3. How can your walk with Jesus help you to overcome those moments and move towards growth?
4. Are you on the ‘learning curve’ right now with something in your life? Where do you land on the curve? How does your faith help you?

This week Llewelyn brought us a message from Psalm 32 on the practice of confession.

This week Beth brought us a reflection from Colossians 3:1-17.

This week Travis brought us a message reflecting on our Church value of 'Seeking'.

Reading from Luke 11:5-13, Travis challenges us to respond to the following questions:

• What does seeking God look like? (verses 9-10)
• What am I noticing in my own formation? (verses 11-13)

This week Jaimee brought us a message from Mark 1:14-15.

This week Beth brought us a message from Luke 18, teaching into one of our Church values, Prayer.

This week Llewelyn brings us a message on restoration and renewal from Isaiah 61.
