In January of 2022, Deputy Abigail Bieber of the Hillsborough County (FL) Sheriff’s Office went away for a long weekend with her boyfriend, Detective Daniel Leyden who worked for the same agency. What happened would put a spotlight on the issues of officer-involved domestic violence and, for Abby’s family, lead to a mission to stop this from happening to anyone else.
