But the Lord didn’t give up on Him, and was waiting patiently and faithfully for His wayward child to return. The Lord wants us to keep going and growing in our relationship with Him, but there are times when some Christians backslide for one reason or another. The first century church of Corinth certainly had its fair share of problems... lawsuits, division, fighting, immorality, and mistakes were occurring left and right.
