As you follow the Lord, you can be sure people will say things about you that aren’t true. That can really hit us like a ton of bricks. And when it does happen we have a choice to make. Will we react in the flesh or use it as an opportunity to advance the gospel? Pastor Ed will talk about that during today’s program.

When things don’t turn out the way we thought they would, we might start to question, Have I missed the will of God? It’s quite possible the apostle Paul felt this way in Acts 23. Jerusalem didn’t turn out the way he thought it would, he’s discouraged and in jail! Pastor Ed Taylor will draw out some very helpful lessons from this experience, that we can apply to our own walk.

Pastor Ed Taylor is about to finish up Acts chapter 21. I think we’ve all shared this common experience someone we know is gossiping about us behind our back, spreading vicious lies. That really hurts doesn’t it? Or maybe we’ve been on the other side spreading lies, slander or gossip! We’ll learn a thing or two in the passage before us. A small group of Jews from Asia were spreading a false lie about the Apostle Paul. And he almost lost his life because of it!
