We’re about to witness an amazing work of God today on Abounding Grace, as we open up Acts chapter ten with pastor Ed Taylor! Picture the scene... Cornellius has gathered his friends and family together and Peter is preaching to them. And God is about to save the entire household! And through it all an important message goes out to us all, and that is God wants to save anyone, any nation with any background. That includes you! The life of a Christian is sure exciting! But that doesn’t mean there won’t be suffering. Even in the suffering God is faithful to provide comfort and to use the Christian’s experience to strengthen us and be a blessing to others. And today on Abounding Grace we’ll see this shining through as we continue a series in Second Corinthians. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/302/29

On today’s program we draw attention to the sin of partiality. Maybe you’re caught up in showing partiality and prejudice? It’s common in the world as we know it. But pastor Ed encourages us to see people as Jesus does. And maybe like Peter, you need to experience a change of heart today. In Acts chapter ten Peter receives a vision of unclean animals, but it’s really about people! The point as we’ll see is that everyone, both Jew and Gentile, is unclean and in need of the Savior. It’s as though God is telling him, be careful your religion doesn’t hold you back from the truth! And that’s a message we need to hear as well.
