Ty and Justin review the first Beatles Movie: A Hard Day's Night. Follow the Beatles through an average day as they travel to the studio for a performance with Paul's very notably clean, but trouble-making granddad in tow. They scrub up at the hotel, meet with the press, then enter the studio for rehearsal before losing Ringo who was upset by Paul's granddad and goes for a walk. Meanwhile the troublemaker gets picked up for trying to sell autographed pictures of the band and winds up in the jail next to Ringo. But true to form, Paul's clean troublemaking granddad decides to break out of the joint and go get the lads to come get Ringo out. And in the end it worked out alright with excellent performances every step of the way.

Justin and Ty delve into the biggest movement of British on American soil since the war of 1812. This time they didn't bring muskets and bayonets, they brought electric guitars and flowers instead! This invasion was a welcome one to be sure! Several big British rock bands had attempted the invasion before, and were quashed by American indifference. But John Lennon and the Beatles refused to go to America until they had a #1 hit there first. "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" topped the charts and so the Fab Four boarded a plane and landed to throngs from a manic crowd eager to devour their sounds. The Beatles were followed by several other great beloved bands like the Rolling Stones, The Kinks, Herman's Hermits, and Them. There has never been a music revolution of that magnitude since,  though some movements have been great, like the grunge era. Justin adores the music from the British invasion, and regardless of where Ty stands with his personal taste, he has to admit that he respects the significance of the music from this era of history.

Justin and Ty review the excellent prison movie Escape From Alcatraz starring their patron saint Clint Eastwood as Frank Morris.  Beyond the movie that they both love, they explore the aftermath and various theories about what really happened to Frank Morris and John and Clarence Anglin. Was this the only successful escape attempt from Alcatraz, or just another failed attempt where the convicts died?  And they pose an interesting question: Could D.B.
