On this episode Eddie talks to Thaddeus about using the word Aloha, growing up in foster care, and how it was taking the chance to move to Hawaii.  Eddie also explains how being accepted in Hawaii was important to him, having important local mentors such as Tv anchor Robert Kekaula helped him, and how important it is to him to develop a connection to the Hawaii community.  Lastly the two talk about the future of the news, the importance of social media as a new outlet and Eddie puts his reporting to the test and asked Thaddeus a thoughtful question,

This week ATBpod.com welcomes Island 98.5  radio personality and program director BIG KOA.  On this episode Thaddeus and Koa talk about gym edicite for new 2023 gym members, how a modeling gig got him his start in radio, and his responsibilities as a program director to find and release new music for Island 98.5 listeners.   Koa also explains how streaming has helped Island 98.5 get noticed all over the world, and gain a new fan base to island reggae music.  Lastly the two talk about fun family moments at DJ Happaboy's "if can can" events,  Koa being a MC for some of the biggest concerts in Hawai'i, and what the future holds for island music.

For the first episode of the new year, ATBpod.com welcomes bay area DJ Marcus Lee.  On this episode Marcus talks to Thaddeus about being a DJ in the bay area, evolving with the new technology in the DJ field,  and how he started as a DJ.  Marcus also talks about being hired to open for world famous rapper Pitbull in the Sharks Arena,  working the biggest Sunday event in the bay, and the stress about being a 49er faithful.  Lastly the two talk about the future of the industry, Marcus Lee's return to Hawai’i in January, and his gig at the District in Honolulu this Friday night.

For our last episode of the year ATBpod.com welcomes back our annual Christmas guest none other then daughter of Thaddeus, Aria Park.  On this episode Aria talks to her Dad about playing volleyball for her school as well as club ( Strive Hi ),  her excitement for her upcoming trip to Disneyland, and what she wants from Santa.  The two also unboxes a gift from Hawaiicandyfactory.com (noms), and also opened a few surprises from Arias Disney funko pop  advent calendar.

This week ATBpod.com welcome the one and only Hungry Hungry Hawaiian, Isaac Scharsch.  On this episode Isaac talks to Thaddeus about how he got HHH started, some interesting days working in Waikiki, and having a pet mongoose.  The two also talk about how things changed here in Hawaii since the pandemic,  the different crazy videos Isaac received to post on his platform, and how people sometimes incriminate themselves with the video they send.  Lastly Isaac talks about how he overcame  some adversities and in the future wanting to use his platform to help homeless, people with addiction and mental health issues get the programs they need.

This week was a special episode for Above the Bridge Podcast because it was the first time we have ever recorded outside of the studio.  This week ATBpod.com caught up with the owner of  WINDWARD COLLECTABLES, Koa Kumai. Recording actually took place right inside his brand new store in the Windward City Shopping Center.  On this episode Koa and Thaddeus talk about the collectable industry on the Windward side, and the types of cards and collectables that Windward Collectables carries in their store.  Koa also gets Thad to open a bunch of Pokemon and UFC collector packs live, which ended up being a lot of laughs.  Lastly the two talk about Koa's upcoming grand opening of his new store on Nov 19th, 2022.

This week atbpod.com celebrates 2 years on air! This episode is a bit off the track from the usual episodes. Here Thaddeus talks about his start and his motivation for Above the Bridge Podcast, his concepts behind it, and thanks a few people for helping him out and showing their support through this process.  In this episode we revisit a few funny moments from the past two years, and we hope you like going back down memory lane.

I also want to thank all the guests that came on and shared their time and aloha with us in the past two years.  Lastly I want to thank the people who listen to the show on the regular, anyone that has reposted an episode or the website, and most of all for all the love, aloha and support.  It has been a fun and crazy last two years and I appreciate all of you. I can't wait for what the next year has in store.
